I had a very unpleasant experience at this gas station. The attendant was visibly upset and seemed unhappy with her job. I just went in to buy a coffee, and I didn’t even get a simple greeting. When I asked about the restroom, she rudely yelled at me, saying I had to wait in line for the men’s bathroom. When I asked again about the women’s restroom, she shouted that it was the only one available. Customer service is essential in any business, and people who don’t know how to treat customers with respect shouldn’t be working here. I definitely won’t be coming back

They did not allow me to use the women's bathroom. On January 17, 2025, I went to Sunshine Shell located at 1720 South University Drive, Miramar, Florida, 33025. I walked in the door and looked around for the bathroom. I looked over to the right. I saw a female worker come out of the women’s bathroom fixing her shirt. When I arrived at the women’s bathroom, I turned the doorknob. It was locked. I went to the front and spoke to a lady behind the counter. I told her the women’s bathroom is locked. I asked if I could use the women’s bathroom. She told me to use the men’s bathroom. When I got in the men’s bathroom, it did not have tissue or hand towels. The men’s bathroom was filthy and dirty. There was urine on the floor. I went back to the front. I spoke to the same lady behind the counter. I told her there is no tissue or hand towels in the bathroom. It is filthy. She went inside a door and came out with tissue. She sent the same worker who I saw come out of the women’s bathroom to clean the men’s bathroom. I was having an emergency. I told her I could not wait for her to clean the men’s bathroom. I asked her why I could not use the women’s bathroom. I told her I saw the employee come out the bathroom. I told her I am having an emergency. I asked her if they can reserve a bathroom for their employees and not allow the public to use the bathroom. She told me they can because they are privately owned. I purchased a bag of Cheetos and a candy bar to prove I was in the gas station. I called the business on a later date to complain. The man answered the phone and did not speak English very well. He did not understand me so I hung-up. Is a gas station required to have a bathroom for the public? Is a gas station required to keep a clean bathroom? They did not have a problem taking my money. Why was I treated so poorly? This is horrible.

DON’T GO TO THIS GAS STATION, 2 time’s I’ve gone and first attempt to put gas with 20 points of rewards and card gets cancel losing my reward. The only Shell gas station that this has happened.

Totally unprofessional, there is a muscular Hispanic male cashier that’s beyond rude! He works the morning shift during the week. Constantly gives dirty looks, and shorting change on cash purchases. This morning I bought a pack of cigarettes and he claimed I didn’t have enough money for it and gave me a dirty look, mind you I gave him the exact change and I asked him politely to count again because I know I gave him the exact amount, and I did. Not even an apology! Beware doing business here and always check change and your receipt before you leave this place. I’m disgusted! (This took place April 19, 2024 between 8-8:30 am)

Went to this location to purchase petrol, no sign posted at the pump that they only had regular petrol. After 3 attempts at the pump to purchase premium petrol with the pump only giving 20¢ worth, I went in to enquire if the pump was indeed working. Only to be told they only have regular petrol available. I was told signs are posted. I inquired as to where, as no signage at the pumps. I was then directed to a sign posted at the front door. Not everyone pays at the cashier and common sense would be to post it also at the pumps. Hire people with sense.

On January 19, 2024 at 9:30 AM. The cashier was very nasty to me the way she spoke to me and very unprofessional. I spend about $200 a week there on gas. I will not be patronizing this business again.
