“I've come here multiple times to donate clothes & appliances. It's always been super easy to drop things off, either at the fron desk or around back, behind the building--after speaking w/ the front desk woman.

I'm very surprised to see the low star rating. I've never had anything other than a pleasant experience here.”

“Clean, well organized, and willIng to take many items (including some small light furniture items). The staff are always friendly and will help you bring in your bags. Also conveniently located in the Publix shopping center, with great hours, so an easy drop off is attainable. I find myself here at least every 2 weeks, dropping off items for a cause. And if you want a receipt for tax purposes they are more than happy to accommodate you. Do a good deed and drop off some lightly used items for someone in need.”

“I love the place.I found a very affordable mattress set there. It’s 2 blocks away from the main Street but it was easy to get there. It doesn’t look very nice from outside but I saved money and I didn’t even spend money on delivery cause they put the mattress set on top of my car.I love how they treated me. I loved the customer service.”

“Cancel your plans for the afternoon - This place is a full-blown treasure hunt in the best way possible. Racks, rows, shelves and bins for days. If you think you are just popping in for a quick look, think again. You could spend an entire day here and still find something new hiding in plain sight. One minute you are flipping through racks, the next you are holding something you did not know you needed until that exact moment. The lady who works there is the cherry on top. Friendly, welcoming, and very fair with pricing. No awkward hovering, just good vibes and honest deals. If you love thrifting, digging, and the thrill of finding that one perfect item, this place is a must.”

“New manager is fantastic! He is nice, respectful & has great customer service. 10000% better than than the old manager. I started back coming here just for the respect.Store still doesn’t have that great of stuff and is pretty unorganized, but hopefully that’ll change.”

“This place cures my retail fever. When I don't wanna go Shopping But definitely want to go shopping. Basically this is a place when you want to be somewhat ethically capitalist.”

4.9 Superb13 Reviews

“The place is clean, organized, well-lit, and has a good selection of items. The isles are wide enough for 2 people to walk by and not cramped, and the people who buy there are decent. I only go on Wednesdays, when everything, except furniture, is 50% off. Otherwise, I find their prices to be high for secondhand clothing that's donated. Some of the staff are very kind, like the older Indian guy who is super friendly. But others, like the asian lady at the register, are very unpleasant. The furniture is old and on the expensive side. I'd give it a 5 start if the staff were nicer, if they had more discounts on other days of the week and if the furniture were discounted too. Overall, I prefer this location over the other ones and definitely avoid Goodwill.”

“The thrift store at St Ambrose Episcopal Church is amazing. Five rooms full of everything you need for yourself, kids, pets, and home. A lot of vintage finds are priced well below what I've seen at the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Open Saturdays from 9 to 12 pm only. A must!”

“This review is for the church thrift store open on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Saturday's from 10 AM until 1PM in a trailer on the back church property. Proceeds from the thrift store benefits the church mission programs like Hope Women's Center and Blessings in a Backpack which provides food insecure local elementary students with food every weekend. Thankfully the trailer was air conditioned. There are three rooms with men's, women's, and children's clothing, toys, household goods, and small appliances. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff but what they had was well organized and clearly marked. They even had some free bins as you walked in. Note that they are cash only. I ended up purchasing a decorative urn for only $5. I am going to try my hand at flower arranging with it. I would definitely stop in here again and there are a number of other thrift stores in the area as well.”

“Well, the truth is, I'm not used to going there, I went for some sweaters that I needed to work, it's good, very cozy and organized, I liked it and I resolved, I left pleased.”

“Every time I walk into this store, I leave with something that still has the tag on it!!!
(Can you spot my brand new item??)
It's usually pretty chill, I love the music, and they have something for every area of the house!
I've been going to this location for almost 20 years, even though I live 20 miles away!!”

“Always enjoy shopping at the Goodwill in Silver Lakes. The store is well organized, and Crystal was super helpful and friendly, which really made the visit even better.

One small suggestion— the speaker/radio volume is a bit too loud, especially since it faces the women’s section. I’ve noticed other shoppers reacting to it as well, and it can make browsing that area an uncomfortable.

Overall, still a great location with helpful staff. I’ll definitely be back!”

“A hidden gem. I needed uniform shirts and I was in the area, so I decided to go there and was glad I did. The selections were nice and the lady at the checkout was very nice. I will definitely be shopping there again. I highly recommend this store.”

“Been going to this store for years you can always come and find some items for a low price and if you don't have away to get your furniture home they deliver for a fee ?”

“I love this goodwill, the staff is very friendly and you get good things, for example, I got a very good photo printer and a good price, it just didn't come with the cable, but everything was in its box. The truth is, not only are they donated second-use things, they also have new things. in the box of course not all the time but sometimes you can get good things very early in the morning”
