It's just like every other place they got good workers and bad. Really slow on service,fixing problems and work. More of the stand around and look at it for a while type instead of getting the job done. Nice clean place, people in office are nice. Won't say what else goes on behind the scenes and the bosses noses. And I won't post the pics either. LolGod Bless

I am updating my review now that I have purchased the boat that was at the marina. Because we had already scheduled a trailer to move the boat, we were on a tight schedule. Then, the survey and sea trial raised some significant issues which the seller generously agreed to address. The marina had very little time to do some major work. Not only did they complete the work within our timeframe, they were able to do some additional work for us that we had wanted done. The boat is on the road now and on its way to us. I highly recommend RFYC and would keep my boat here off season if I lived in Florida.I was scheduled to look at a boat at the marina with my broker. He was not able to join me, and there was no one to show the boat. The staff at the marina went above and beyond, and, with the permission of the owner, let me spend all the time I needed on the boat and provided much useful information. It is an impressive facility.

I had a great experience at River Forest Yachting Center. Tad and his crew were great communicators and got a very long work list done in a short amount of time. I highly recommend River Forest in LaBelle, FL.

Clean, Well run boat and yacht storage facility. Inside, hurricane proof climate controlled and non controlled storage plus outside storage and service.

Great storage only center. That's where it ends. I asked repeatedly for pricing on about $15k worth of shipyard work. Volvo drive maintenance, bottom paint, some touch up hull paint, ect. Nothing was priced other than straight bottom paint. When I picked up boat nothing was done. They tried to charge me 3500 for hull and deck polish. The scum was still on the hull from the initial haul out ! Oh and the icing was the head tank was full and never pumped on initial haul out as in their "full service" program. Wow did that stink! So if u just need storage and nothing else it's a great facility. All other work should be owner supervised.

This is a first class marina and service facility, as well as an excellent hurricane protection facility. We had a last minute change in plans due to a health issue and ended up keeping our boat there for several months. They were extremely accommodating and worked with us to complete some necessary maintenance. The service was outstanding and when we arrived to retrieve our boat the staff did an excellent job of ensuring our boat was clean and ready to go. Would highly recommend River Forest when transiting between Stuart and Ft Myers, FL.

While River Forest used to do great work and had decent customer service those days are long gone. They took twice as long as estimated to do the work and many things were left undone or done incorrectly. Now a year later the bottom paint is peeling off and they won't even call me back. Apparently "Margie" is the only person who can handle warranty issues, I've left her a message once a week for the last 5 weeks and spoken with the receptionist several times to confirm she's in the office and has gotten the message, still nothing.Don't waste your time with these people.

If you want all your brand new electronics washed off with a garden hose and have a perfectly good engine that never had a heating issue overheat the second you leave then this is the place for you.. I you want communication this is not the place for you. Looked like people were living on the boat while it was there. Definitely recommend owl creek down stream.
