Let’s be honest: finding a place to haul out your boat, do maintenance work, or store it long-term at a reasonable price — without feeling like you’re being taken advantage of — is extremely difficult. We came across this location while transiting the canal, and I can confidently say we are very satisfied.

The boat is stored in a secure area, and I feel completely at ease leaving it here for an extended period. No negative comments at all. They are punctual, professional, and the location — I’ll say it again — is safe and nicely removed from busy areas. The people here are friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely good to deal with.

Honestly, don’t waste your time looking elsewhere — this is the place I recommend. And trust me, I did a lot of research.

We’re also able to carry out our own repairs and maintenance, then move the boat into the storage area with power available if needed. The daily rates in the work area are very affordable. Electricity is included in the price (valued at $60 per month), and they even provide a complimentary monthly check to ensure everything is running properly, which is very reassuring.

They also have showers available for your convenience. The only downside, in my opinion, is that there are no washer and dryer facilities on-site. However, there is a nearby marina about a 10-minute walk away (or 15 minutes by car) where you can do your laundry and even enjoy a nice meal at the restaurant at the same time.

If you need ladders, step stools, or tools, you’ll need to bring your own. That said, the people working on-site are very friendly and were able to accommodate us when needed.

It’s very, very clean. Even if it might not look like it at first glance, you have to remember this is a working yard. And in the storage area, like in many marinas, you’ll sometimes see abandoned boats — so don’t judge the place by appearances.
