I advise that other people disregard this Amanda Mapp review that is on here. I have come to this CVS for years and have been helped by Marcello the pharmacy technician that Amanda is targeting. I witnessed that day when Marcello encountered Amanda, and I could hear her screaming at Marcello over something out of his control. With every answer, he gave Amanda she felt the need to belittle his work environment to the point that she had to say she was a Nurse. The issue was the new staff pharmacist Giovanni that did not speak up about the issue and how he failed to get her medicine on time, and when Marcello asked her for 10 minutes to get it ready, she got upset and spent 10 minutes waiting in the drive-thru line and made Giovanni, fill her medication. I had to wait to get help because of Amanda Mapp. Marcello is a great pharmacy technician and he does a lot of behind the scene things to help people save money when they do not need insurance, he even tried with Amanda with their systems coupon program as he was mentioning to his coworker to help deescalate the situation he was having with Amanda. Amanda seems to be a privileged and arrogant person, that was upset because things did not go her way. Do not believe her review and her \"assessment\" is invalid. Amanda Mapp is not a doctor, she claims to be a \"nurse\" who knows nothing about communication assessments and lacks empathy as a person. 5 stars to Marcello! I was not going to originally comment, but since Google refuses to take down Amanda Mapp's review after I reported it, I felt that I needed to stand up for Marcello, an amazing employee at CVS! And just so Amanda knows, he is still at CVS helping all these customers, since March 11 and this location has a new staff pharmacist, which shows who was at fault that day, NOT THE TECHNICIAN.

I have never been treated so poorly at a pharmacy. March 11, 2023 I met a young pharmacy tech. named Marcello. From my assessment, this employee should not work with patients at this time. Marcello displays the inability to speak to others in a decent way and explain what is happening with their medication. He has no problem solving skills and displays no proactivity. Marcello significantly lacks basic customer service skills and sympathy. I urge you to provide him any educational material on how to have basic therapeutic communication and how to display respect to customers.

The store itself has everything you need. Store associates are charming and helpful. Pharmacy crew are the best! This CVS is farther from home, but I go there because of the people in it. However upper management should pay close attention and keep up the facilities looking good. Is dirty and full of spiderwebs all around it.

Please save yourself some time and do not bother going to this pharmacy. There are plenty in the area that are far better. The laziness and rudeness of the staff isn’t worth dealing with when you’re sick and need your meds.

Drop off a script and tell the pharmacist that the dosage has been increased. Do you have these in stock? "Oh, yes and come back in 2 hours." I come back and, of course, they do not have them in stock nor will they have them until after 5 the next day. You have my phone number and you couldn't pick up the phone so I didn't have to drive over there to find this out. Do you even both to look at the prescription? The person at the service window asked if I wanted the lower dose. I wanted what was on the script as prescribed by my doctor. No wonder I have high blood pressure. Incompetence and lack of courtesy is running rampant.
