If you want to step back in time, the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora is the place to stay. Erected in 1883, the Inn is situated next to the Mount Dora Lake with a great view of the lake and sunsets. It has two other bedding facilities, gift shop and a pool next to the lake with breathtaking views.
Their kitchen prepares a wide variety of American and traditional cuisine. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and they provide multiple places to eat such as the outdoor seating facing the lake and indoor seating at the Tremain's Tavern or the Beauclaire with views of their lush gardens.
The service staff are very attentive and warm ensuring you are comfortable and enjoy your experience in the Inn. We were warmly greeted by Judy and Nicole who acquainted us with the Inn. Kim who served us breakfast, provided tips to further enjoy the town, and Justin went over and above to ensure we had a great food experience and enjoyed our stay.
The Lakeside Inn promises a memorable experience combining history, relaxation, and delicious cuisine in a charming setting.I highly recommend you stay at the Inn the next time you visit Mount Dora.

We had breakfast at the Lakeside Inn. Brittany was so awesome. Her recommendations for breakfast were spot on!!! The pancakes had amazing flavor and she was so friendly!!!
If you get a chance to stop by for breakfast, ask for Brittany! You won’t regret it!!!!

Relaxing and genteel, rooms simple ...only lacking a coffee pot. Wonderful lake, pool, gardens, and walk ability. Service was fabulous especially Brittany in dining room. Will return...very historic!

Great place to experience Mount Dora. The rooms in the old original building are better than expected except the toilets are almost as old as the building

I my daughter-in-law and I stopped by for a late lunch when the restaurant was closed and decided to eat at the bar. The menu was limited and we requested an item that was not on it ( strawberry spring salad)but our server, Chaz, very kindly checked with the kitchen and said they would make it for us. It was delicious and our bartender/serve was attentive and helpful.

Had lunch with friends at Lakeside Inn. Natalie was our server. She was great and very attentive! The food was delicious. We all decided to meet there for lunch again in a couple of months.

I took my mom to lunch at lakeside inn restaurant and Brittany was the most wonderful server today! We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and tasty meal. Such a pleasant experience because of the excellent food and friendly service from Brittany!
