This review is just a word of warning for potential customers of Lowe's especially the one in Mount Dora Florida but actually Lowe's in general. We purchased over $4,000 worth of appliances and carpet at Lowe's. When they delivered the stove refrigerator and dishwasher, we found that the refrigerator did not measure up to what we had thought it would when we saw it in the store. It had been 4 days since the refrigerator had been installed and we wanted to return it and upgrade to a more expensive model. We called Lowe's to find out what the steps were that we needed to take. At this time we were told we were over the limit to return it. We were informed that from the time the refrigerator was delivered we only had 48 hours to return it. If we had purchased it with a Lowe's credit card we would have had 30 days in which to return it but because we paid for it in a different manner we only had 48 hours and we were told we could not return it. So beware of how you pay for your items at Lowe's. They want you to do it with their credit card. We are very disappointed in Lowe's and the fact that they would not work with us nor did they make it clear what the restrictions would be for returning the refrigerator. We were also extremely disappointed in the installation company that came to install the dishwasher. The man who came to do it could not speak English well at all and made communication almost impossible for any explanations of questions that we had. He was also very close to rude and had no skills whatsoever in dealing with the public. Hopefully someone reading this will be spared what we are now experiencing, having a refrigerator that we are not happy with and the installation of a dishwasher that was extremely uncomfortable and totally unprofessional.

Do not use this place for blinds. The blinds we ordered we not cheap, the person who measured our house did not seem to know what they were doing. They don’t give you the measurements you pay for either so you’re forced to buy their blinds. The blinds we got were cut crooked and look awful. The person who works in the blind department cutting blinds is lazy and doesn’t care to help. Just stay away from this lowes for blinds.

Talked me into getting a credit card that can not be paid. The instructions that arrived with the card gave me 2 options of paying credit card with the credit card that arrived in the mail and neither of them work. I downloaded an app and then went online. Neither worked. The app doesn’t even let you access your credit card UNLESS you are trying to use it to spend money. But it doesn’t give you an option to pay. The website’s payment services aren’t working. Tried the chat which directed me to the website that’s not working.If you demand ppl pay their credit cards on time, you better have some working payment options. It’s gotta be illegal

I placed an order for the Sabre Driveway alert. The price was right, and the item was what I expected. It was delivered on time without damage. I like the range, I positioned the motion sensor at my gate that is more than 200 feet from the receiver and it works great. I am satisfied with my purchase. Also the receiver has various alert tones, and a volume setting.

Needed some Home Defense for my family member who lives down here. Searched the section it belonged in, nothing. Asked a staff member who shrugged. Almost went with another item, but passed a display containing the item we wanted (was facing away from people walking in). Had to go back and drop the alternative, but the entire back aisle was occupied by a fork lift.No check outs open, only self checkout.

My son's hot water heater stopped working, he lives in Florida and I live in New Jersey. I go into my local Lowes store to see if I can order him a new hot water heater and have it shipped to him. I talked to the sales person in plumbing and showed him pics of the existing hot water heater. He then looked up the water heater and we ordered what he said we needed. I was charged $79.00 to have it delivered to his house. When the plumber came out to do the installation he said it was not the right heater and would not work. My son then had to pay someone to help him take this unopened brand new hotwater heater back to his local Lowes. Upon arrival he is told that they will not take it back unless he has some kind of authorization number from AO Smith. So now he has to lug this 40 gallon hot water heater back to his house. We called our local NJ Lowes and they said they should have taken it back with no problem. Next morning we call the Mt dora fla Lowes and speak to the manager who says it should have never been refused and bring it back. Once again he finds someone to help him get it back to the store. Upon arrival they star asking him all kinds of questions and even ask if he taped the box at which time he said no, that's just the way it came. With that being said the woman grabbed a knife and proceeded to cut up the box exposing the brand new never opened hot water heater. In the end the money for the hot water heater was refunded. We are out the $79.00 for the delivery of the wrong hot water heater and the time and money that it took to make two separate trips to return this item. Very disappointed in Lowes!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
