Happy to charge you a fortune for all kinds of procedures, but then you will never hear from them again and they completely ignore you. I went to this office for years, then paid for some expensive allergy testing and was given some very expensive medicine that cannot be applied the way they instructed me. I questioned it, and was ignored and pushed aside. Then I never heard from them again. This is not a place that cares about you, your business, or your pets.

We have three dogs under their care, a greyhound and two chihuahua mixes. They have been nothing but professional, communicative, friendly and doing all they can under stressful times for all. Vets are like restaurants; we judge by our personal experiences. Ours have been very positive. A side note: Brittany at the front deserves a raise. Thank you.

Very caring employees. I have 3 dogs in various life stages that require attention at times and the staff is very responsive. I'd prefer to have some face time with the doc but they still have covid protocol in place. I've been using them for the last 18 months and the doc is just a voice on the phone.

Had to bring my 11 week of puppy to Palmetto for emergency treatment. The staff immediately ran out to my car grabbed my puppy and rushed him inside to try and help him. He had to be taken to the overnight hospital in leesburg and unfortunately having to put our puppy down the staff at Palmetto called the next day to check on Bubba I had to pass on the bad news he had passed. I received a card in the mail from the entire staff sending their condolences for the passing of Bubba. The staff is truly amazing and cares so much for not just the animals for also for the owners of the pets. I’ll be forever thankful for the staff and doctors!

Dr. Nikol Phillips misdiagnosed my dog. Said she had a UTI and her elevated white blood cells were from that. My girl had cancer. Because she misdiagnosed her, I didn't have the opportunity to try to save her. I had to put her to sleep. I filed a board complaint which I don't take lightly. But no one should have to go through what my girl and I went through. I would never recommend anyone take their precious fur babies to her.

After sitting and waiting over an hour at a different vet office, I called in a frenzy and was pleased to be greeted by Julius. My poor pup needed to be seen and the amazing staff at Palmetto Animal Health Center took such great care of him. The drop off service offered me the opportunity to run my errands, all while having the peace of mind knowing my sweet boy was in such great care. I don’t think they had him longer than my car ride home before he was ready for pick up though. I was so pleased with the services, compassion and knowledge the staff provided to us. Thank you Palmetto Animal Health Center!

"You don't pay, she doesn't fly" This is not how you do business!! I was giving an estimate of $165.00 for a travel health certificate for Lulu and without even one phone call to let me know the adding charges the Vet's own decision of performing the rabies vaccine again after only four months apart on a international travel health certificate from another vet just like her was inhumane!! The charges end up to be more than doble! Shame on you for assuming that is ok to go ahead without first consulting your client !! The worst part was that the technician came outside to told me pretty much. Do you want your pet to travel on Friday ? Then that's how much you need to pay or we don't give you any papers and she can't fly ! What? Darling you are not dealing with the suckers that stay quiet every time you show them the bill. Lulu is going to fly this Friday since I have to go to Miami anyways and the Vets other there are only charging $150 for everything. Even after paying your visit and the unnecessary adding rabies vaccine, the specialty procedure and is very thing else that was done already by another vet!! The total for my brother because it's his dog, is going to be less than $340 !!! next time you think about increasing your prices remember me!! Lol the one that got away !! Pet owners I pray that you will do your proper diligence when selecting this business but if you are an existing client please ASK and ASK again about these outrages prices before they take your money like a s***** out of high school. (BTW the price for each vaccine is less than $2.50 each) No love for the animal is all about the money...You don't pay, she doesn't fly !! I will always remember this guy saying this to me.

They had sweet employees but when I brought in a hurt baby wild animal they said they can only put euthanize they don't do that kind of stuff and then said to donate to their wild animal cause which all they do is euthanize them. Then after the doctor said she didn't do wild animals continued to tell my parents her credentials and that she's worked on them before and even asking anyway to save it still just sat there telling us her credentials while we are rushing to find a better place to help the baby animal.

I gave them another try but the wait is just too long here. I've switched vets. I do recommend Dr. Curtis though. She really has a way of calming a cat. I'm very glad that my first vet visits for my cat were with her but I do not have time to wait 40 minutes for a "drop off" I've switched to a vet in Eustis, the one I've always brought my dog to, where when I arrange and prepare for a drop off, I'm able to do just that. However, I really do admire Dr. Curtis' way with pets. She is a top notch vet!
