Friendly and helpful staff but confusing layout for a smaller store. Deli’s hot food items are limited compared to other Publix’ and the food quality is just OK. Been shopping here for 6 months, since moving to Mount Dora from Orlando (Paramount, Shine Ave, Michigan Ave) where those stores are a step above.

Publix is a very nice grocery store. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the store clean and inviting. Their moto is "shopping is a pleasure..." Well, during this economy shopping is in many ways painful. Publix puts out the BOGOs and promotional items on a Wednesday and it's a good idea to check the aisles
because the deals are throughout the store not just displayed at the front entrance.

Actually,the pharmacy at Publix at the Crossroads in Tavares is the one I wish to discuss! Seems they don't provide this feature, hummm wonder why? Went to my PCP doctor yesterday due to being light headed, come to find out, my heart rate was 120 bpm instead of 60 bpm, which is normal! Thus, my Dr. issued three prescription & they were sent over to the Crossroads Publix at HWY19, in Tavares at 1137am. shortly there after I received a text message from The Publix to call them, reference a prescription question! we spoke about one of the three that they had received, I confirmed that there were 3 with the lady! several hours later, I decided to shop at the Publix 230pm or so, and I purchased numerous food products! Then I went to check on my prescription, The young lady said that they were just called in and it would be after 5pm before they would be ready! Well I knew this was not a true statement because around 1140 am today is when I received the text message to call about the one prescription and during the call I asked about all three and she said the had them! SO IF THEY WERE JUST CALLED IN, this is what I was told at about 240 pm. WHY WAS I TOLD THIS?? It was not true! I had to address this story with management to get my blood pressure medication in a timely manner! Not impressed with this pharmacy at all, & not the first time that I have had an issue with them!

Publix isn't the same place it was when George Jenkins was alive.
It seems DEI has infiltrated this store and it is affecting customer service at the registers.
Having 3 or 4 way conversations with other employees while a customer is trying to check out is not what Mr. Jenkins allowed when he was alive..
I was fortunate enough to work for Publix before he passed.
And the behaviors happening at the registers would NEVER happen then.
I get it, Publix, like nearly all corporations, are now behest to Soros and the grand wizards of the woke left.
But teach them some manners.
Teach them how to leave the ebonics at home.
A simple ""Have a nice day" was MANDATORY when I worked around customers.
Not some mumbling hood talk.
