Was there this morning for routine bloodwork. Self check in ridiculously easy. The tv screens tell how many people are currently being seen, and HIPAA compliant "who's next" checked in. The waiting room is small and fills up quickly, but things moved like clockwork. Staff is upbeat, friendly, personable, attentive ,and professional. If you're needle phobic(I am not),I can suggest Daniel would be a great phlebotomist to see as his chairside manner, attention to detail, and extremely gentile touch was amazing. He got everything taken care of quickly and painlessly. I'm writing this 10 hours post stick,it's obvious I had blood drawn, but no bruising(yet)and no residual discomfort. The waiting room does not have that " spotless" feel to me,but a lot of people are run through and I was there mid morning(the start at 5:30 am!),so,while not dirty, also not pristine. The patient treatment room, however;was spotless, well organized and comfortable. Getting bloodwork done is never a pleasant experience, but this location handles it right.

I made an appointment last week, even had a picture on my phone, but appointment wasn't in the system. I checked online, and there was no record of it either, but I had a screenshot of my appointment??? I also didn't get a text. One of the phlebotomists told me I probably didn't hit the confirm button, and it happens all the time supposedly. I am just so angry because I made appointment last week, and it was the only opening before work, so I took it. There were no more appointments nearby, and no appointments available before my doctor appointment, so I had to drive an hour to Clermont and call-in late for work. I was so angry when I arrived at Clermont office to discover they had a standby list, which the Mount Dora location told myself and several people, that Quest only takes appointments now, so I guess it is only this location??? Ridiculous. Not blaming people who work there, they are very good at what they do. Just upset about their new policies and only taking automated scheduling system (which obviously has glitches) at this lab. And I feel like since I had a screenshot on my phone, they should have honored it, or at least let me wait on standby.

My experience was fine but the lobby area smell like sour carpet that did not dry properly. Or a dirty diaper. I meant to say something this morning.

I have the kind of veins which are really difficult to draw blood from which is discouraging for myself and whomever is trying to draw blood, sometimes I need to be sent to the hospital because labs are unsuccessful. I encountered an Angel named Stacy at Quest in Mount Dora that was patient and kind with me and was able to draw all labs so my Doctor can help me with a brain tumor.I know whenever I need blood drawn in the future I will request Stacy. She accepted the challenge and won! Thank you Stacy from the bottom of my heart.

Their appointment system is a disaster. First, appointments have to be made through an automated phone call, not online. And the system has known glitches—their own staff admits it. In the hour we sat there waiting because it had messed up our appointment (despite the fact that we had a confirmation code), we saw person after person attempt to check in only to find a problem with their appointment. Of course, they say always say it's customer error. But it happen so often, it's not all customer mistakes. Their technology has problems. And to add insult to injury, the staff is rude and unaccommodating. They just don't care. They just DON'T CARE.

I walked in for a drug screen and they said they don't do them there!?!? I literally got an email saying go to any Quest. I tried calling but you can't get through to the actual facility because it's all automated. Also, how hard is a drug screen? I am just is aww that a lab can't preform a simple screening.

I don't recall the tech's name that did my blood draw, but she was amazing! People always have a hard time on me, but she looked around my arm, found a spot she liked and bam...a little poke and she had blood flowing! My husband wasn't as lucky and my gal had to come save him. She got him first try. Definitely would go back to this location.

Terrible only because they are now forcing you to have appointments for a guaranteed spot. Makes me sick because us busy moms sometimes need the convenience of being able to walk in for a quick in and out. The check in screen isnt very user friendly so the older clients struggle! The staff is friendly and helpful. I feel bad for them having to answer a million questions.

The young lady who administered the urine test was great. The place is clean and organized.

A friendly reminder that whenever the phlebotomy techs bring you into the blood drawing room, the first thing to do is give them your health insurance card. Please. Other than that, it is a small and clean place.

The portal to make reservations is not easy to use. When I still had not received a confirmation by the morning of my appointment (and after fasting all night) I tried to call Quest to determine if there was an issue with my reservation. I was unable to reach a live agent. I decided to drive the 45 minutes to the location and sure enough, they didn't have a reservation. Despite my explaining the circumstance, including the distance traveled, my attempt to reach someone to trouble shoot and having fasted, the staff were very cold and uncompassionate. Here I sit, in the waiting room, staring at a time that's many hours in the future. The staff intentionally do not look at me and talk around me. I never had this problem with LabCorp.

Busy. This area has a great deal of retirees from yankee territory. So....always busy. Once I got seen, it went quickly. Phlebotomy tech was great.
