I want to thank Jess for stepping in and helping me feel welcome. The shift leader on this evenings shift was a very rude young lady. I am very grateful that Jess took over the situation and helped me. The shift leader acted as if my presence was annoying her. The shift leader made very condescending remarks to me. Jess was so friendly and nice. Thank you again Jess for not allowing your shift leader to ruin my shopping trip experience in your establishment.

I stopped in here to pick up a few things and ended up purchasing the few things I stopped in for and a few more things. They do have a great selection here and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, there was a steady flow of traffic so can't understand the poor rating its seems a few of the negative reviews are reactive and were maybe written prior to following up and allowing corporate to help resolve their issue. I will definitely return here when in the area if I need to grab a few items.

Worst customer service ever. I bought food for my dog there- not cheap food (freeze dried raw food) meal toppers, broth, etc. one bag had weevils and the other made my dog violently sick! Throwing up all over for 2 days. My vet said the food was bad and to return it. The manager was rude and would only give me a gift card (which I didn't want) instead of a refund. When I said the customer is always right they just laughed. Don't shop there as they do not stand behind anything they sell and they are mean and rude!!!! I wish I could give zero stars......

So disappointed with the service in the facility today. The young cashier reminded me not to bring the puppy into the store, ok. As I went to pay for items, she asked what kind of dog it was, so I told her. She said well it looks like any other mutt to me, they all look alike. I corrected her on the breed. We have been visiting the store regularly for years and years. We will not ever return after today's experience.

I was a pet perks member until today, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I'm sure you can imagine how much money I've spent in the past 8 years as your customer with the food/treats/shampoo/toys/etc. I started having quality issues with the treats being dried out so I started opening the bags at the store to ensure the quality was there. Today, I did that and the treats were bad. I opened another from the back (this typically works) but those were also dried out. All the while I'm speaking with the manager, Nathan - letting him know that I've had this issue in the past and explained about my dog and his pills. He said "well, don't open another bag - I have customers who don't have dogs with no teeth and don't care about the treats being able to hold a pill" . Since he was so rude, I simply told him To ring me up, I'd pay for both bags and donate them but I would not be a returning customer. I will either go to petsmart up the street or start ordering from Chewy like everyone else. Now, I'm in staffing, I understand the struggle to finding good employees, I'm also in sales and understand that customers are hard to find. This is a true example of one going hand in hand with the other. I spent $26 on treats that are far below the quality I'm use to getting, I had a manager basically tell me my older dog doesn't matter and I am beyond livid that I have spent money with your corporation over the past 8 years. I'm more upset by the lack of empathy than the money, it's only $26 bucks - I've spent much more than that on my boys and will continue to do so, just not here. To be treated like this as a customer in todays highly competitive market for consumers and in the age of instant reviews, I'm surprised you don't have a better policy on promoting & vetting managers. Above was sent to Pet Supermarket corporate and I sent a message to the CEO, Allen McClard. Also sent to the manufacturer of the treats.

This store is very user friendly but I wish the staff could be helpful. A young man who spoke to customers in a matter of fact attitude was clueless to what the store had in stock and was willing to go through a box but that might take all evening to get through. If you know what you want from the store it's a great pet store but beware of snotty staff.

Nathan was super helpful and patient with my big, rude dog and I. I appreciate it so much. It's the best customer service I've received in a while. I will be back. Thanks again, Nathan.

I have alwAys found these pet supply stores to be a bit expensive, considering their size and the buying power they must have. But you can find pet items here that other stores don't carry, and our local branch does quite a lot to support our local humane society shelter, so if I need to go to a pet supply place, this is the one I use. Once you are in the huge shopping center parking lot, it can be a bit hard to find as the sign faces the highway so it is just a plain lookinG building as you drive through the parking lot.

They were so nice and they took such good care of my baby cat I will always come back here again. Because the prices were fair and staff just know what there doing so if you have a pet that has a problem where it's big or small 😻😺ðŸ‘

This store is seemingly always out of crickets or, they only have large crickets. I can never rely on them to have what I need. Ace Hardware in Mt. Dora sells large crickets for 1/2 the price. Lake County needs a Pet Bazaar they always have stock on feeders. The only thing this Pet Supermarket seems to care about is selling over priced pet food to retired people.

I have been shopping at this store, Mount Dora FL, since it opened a few years ago. My major purchase is dog food. They have implemented an idiotic store policy of rearranging the locations (both aisles and shelves) of all the dog food brands every month. (This according to one of the dopey managers) I always buy the same dog food. Every time I go in there I have to walk around every aisle until I find my brand. This is inconvenient and stupid. I complained to the manager on duty and he confirmed the policy of rotating the product locations each month. I suggested that he forward my complaint to management and all I got was a blank stare and a "Have a nice day, sir" answer. Needless to say, today's purchase was my last at "Pet-not-so super-market". To management I would like to say: "Have a profitable day, dummies!"
