Nestled in the serene countryside, FANS is a true paradise for animals and a haven for animal lovers. My experience volunteering at this sanctuary has been nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me deeply impressed and inspired by the compassionate work being done here.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Lisa and Dave, who were eager to share the stories of the sanctuary’s residents. The dedication and passion of the caretakers were evident in every interaction, and it was clear that each animal was treated with the utmost care and respect.
The sanctuary is home to a diverse array of animals. Each enclosure is thoughtfully designed to mimic natural habitats, providing the animals with ample space to roam, play, and relax. I was particularly moved by the stories of the rescued animals, many of whom came from traumatic backgrounds but have now found a safe and loving environment to heal and thrive.
I learned about the sanctuary’s rescue efforts, rehabilitation programs, and educational initiatives. The sanctuary’s commitment to promoting animal welfare and environmental conservation is truly commendable.
Overall, FANS is a beacon of hope and compassion. It’s a place where animals are given a second chance at life and where visitors can connect with nature and learn about the importance of kindness towards all living beings. I highly recommend this remarkable sanctuary—it’s an experience that will leave you feeling inspired and uplifted.

Farmhouse Animal and Nature Sanctuary staff and volunteers offer amazing care to the animals residing at the property. These animals will live out the remainder of their lives at the sanctuary. The main goal of the sanctuary is to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals, as well as to show them love. The Sanctuary staff and volunteers will be working towards programs geared to help at risk students and under privileged youth and young adults. The focus will be to teach them a way of life caring for animals and nature with the intent of peaking their interest in pursuing a career in animal care/vet services and/or horticultural and landscape services. This is a great program that will benefit both the person and the animals with one on one attention and care. In addition educational tours and classes help raise public awareness and understanding of what it takes to care for the specific animals at the sanctuary.

Farmhouse Animal & Nature Santuary is a safe haven for animals in need of a loving home. The dedicated staff and volunteers go above and beyond to provide a safe and friendly environment for animals that needed a place to live. The animals live in habitants that are comfortable with lots and lots of extra kindness, love and treats! Animals have a way of knowing when they are safe and well cared for. All the animals at Farmhouse Animal & Nature Santuary definitely know they are loved and will have a forever home! Lisa and Dave go above and beyond for these animals. They worked tirelessly so that the animals can have a good life. They are well cared for and live in a very clean environment. They are constantly looking for ways to enrich the animals lives often with no days off. You can tell how well they treat the animals by the way the animals interact with them

These animals live the life of Riley! Lisa, Dave, and all the wonderful volunteerst such wonderful care of all who are lucky enough to live here! The habitats are very clean, all of the animals get tons of loves and treats! this Sanctuary is truly a little slice of heaven for each and every animal that lives here!
