Anyone within the service area of Myakka Communications should be greatful and already be a customer. If you want a company that actually cares about their customers and doesn't offer smoke and mirrors promises but genuine people that deliver excellent internet connectivity then just hope you're within their service area. I have spoken to John, Charlie, and Bob who would take the time to ask you the questions so you get the best experience. They all explained every step and Bob was excellent at making an extra trip after 5pm to come and hook up a mesh network so we would have the best wifi. He tested multiple areas to find the one spot that would evenly spread the wifi signal from end to end in this house. My opinion is Frontier Fios and Comcast Xfinity could really learn from Myakka Communications at what it takes to communicate with customers while providing the best internet per user or household. So I am grateful and a happy customer of Myakka Communications!

We had Myakka Communications for internet for 9 years. We recently moved out of state and now rely upon Spectrum for internet. Since I work remote from home, good connection and service are essential. We've already had more issues with Spectrum in one month then we ever did with Myakka in 9 years. Thank you guys for the great service!

Living out east, Myakka Communications is by far the greatest internet service we could imagine. During hurricanes we donāt lose service if thereās an issue, we call and speak to one of the guys right away, they take care of all problems immediately and care about our service. It is so rare these days and we are truly grateful for their service. We never have issues with huge Sage or running all of the devices. Our Internet speed is fast and we have absolutely no complaints and recommend it to anyone that we know that lives in the area.

It's rare to encounter a family-owned utility company these days, and working with Myakka Communications has been refreshing. Their customer service is top-notch, and on the rare occasion that issues arise, their response is swift and effective.
The reason for this review is to highlight their stellar performance during the recent storms in our area. While other utilities went down, Myakka's fiber infrastructure kept our internet running flawlessly. This was a true lifeline, especially in a region with poor cell reception, where a reliable data feed is crucial.
A huge thank you to Mark, Charley, and John for going above and beyond to ensure we stay connected, even in the most challenging conditions. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed, and itās appreciated.

No break in connectivity during Hurricane Milton. Kept my TV on through the whole storm and was able to wirelessly text and call even though we gad no cell service! Awesome job!

Today I had a service tech come out because my phone system had been out for a few weeks. In a matter of minutes he diagnosed the problem had it fixed. But my phone's still weren't working throughout the house. Went above and beyond checking my alarm box found that the service tech had left it unplugged. Saw that the battery was bad. Replace that. I don't know of any company that offers better customer service than myakka communications. I am so grateful for them in their service. I don't know why anyone who has the option to use their company isn't using it! Very blessed to use their service, Gary Wiegand

Our experience with Myakka Communications has been outstanding! It all began with a phone call that was answered by a genuinely nice gentleman named Charley and continued with everyone that we interacted with throughout the installation process. Their personalized customer care and attention to detail is truly impressive. When our existing cable line was accidentally cut (due to homeowner error), they went above and beyond to expedite the installation of their cable, ensuring we werenāt left without internet for weeks.
Running the cable to our home was no small taskāit involved a two-day process that started at the street, crossed over a creek, and navigated around endless underground roots and irrigation. The installation team handled it all expertly, showing the high quality of their work.
Weāre extremely pleased with the reliable and consistent internet service from this local, family-owned business. Since switching, we have not experienced any outages, interruptions, buffering, or lag, which are all a very significant improvement over our previous provider.
Thank you to the entire Myakka Communications Team for giving us a choice in excellent internet serviceāsomething that can be hard to come by when you live in the āboonies.ā Your dedication to your customers and your willingness to go above and beyond, even in challenging installations, does not go unnoticed!

Speeds are not as advertised. Their version of Fiber is a fraction of what it is suppose to be. The upload speed not even tipping over 50 mbps despite paying for 1 gig up and down. Terrible.
