Yesterday, my car was disabled due to a frozen parking brake, so I needed to have the car towed to my dealer. I called BMW roadside assistance, notified the agent of the car’s and model, AND of the fact that it has a manual transmission. He assigned the case to Bald Eagle Towing and Recovery in Naples, and I paid $153 for the service.
When the driver arrived, he was unable to put my car on the truck because he did not know how to drive a manual transmission. And there was no winch!! I had to drive the car onto the sloped surface of the truck, against the parking brake, and then get out and work my way down that same sloped surface. I am 81 years old, and though I am not disabled, I did not expect to engage in this level of participation in the towing call.
Once I understood that there was a problem, I told the driver that he should ask for one of the service technicians at dealership for help unloading the car, but he said he would just put it neutral and let it roll off. Apparently, he ran into trouble because he called me from the dealership to ask where he was supposed to leave the car. When I told him to go to the service entrance, he said he did not want to leave the truck because the car was “hanging” on the sloping truck bed. I did not know what he meant, but apparently he was worried that the car might be damaged if he left it alone.
I was not there, so I don’t know what actually happened, but although my service manager tells me the car is ok, I am not a happy customer. Either I or my car could easily have been damaged as a result of the towing company’s failure to send a driver capable of operating a manual transmission after BMW notified them that those skills would be necessary.
I have asked Bald Eagle for a refund of my towing fee, but they ignored me.

On Oct. 29th at 6:50 pm, I called and provided my info and requested to have my vehicle towed to my selected repair facility. I was given the price($130.35), which I agreed to, and was informed the driver would contact me in around 40 minutes. After waiting an hour, I called to inquire and the phone continuously rung and then went to voicemail. Couldn’t even get someone on the phone. As I sit here typing this review, in 24 minutes it will be 4 hours since my call for my vehicle to be towed. Not even a return call to apologize, explain they’re busy, or just don’t give a ^*^*. It is unfortunate I needed a tow and I will never try to use this company again.

Mike was great. Bald Eagle towing is fantastic. I really loved their online portal to see where the driver was located and his arrival time. Great service! I hope you don't need to call for a tow but if you do, call Bald Eagle for sure!

I had a flat tire off interstate 75 in Fort Myers and Bald Eagle Towing company to ok the call. They came immediately in the heavy rush hour traffic to help me. The driver was very professional and super nice. I rode with him to the Mercedes Benz dealership. Debbie Kolstad

Great customer service. I was in dire need of a tow the day after Hurricane Milton slammed into Florida. AAA wouldn’t come out to tow but this company was there in less than an hour. They were the best!!!! Thank you Bald Eagle Towing!
