PLEASE READ SO YOU DON’T WASTE MONEY AND TIME!Since it’s a review I’ll make it short,I rented this suv on vacation, they gave me the suv with a nail in the tire the light kept coming on after adding some air every few hours so I called Dollar Rental to have them fix it or provide a solution. The rep basically said since I reported a few hours later I was responsible for the repair and the tire and I was going to get charged to replace the tire. It’s a weekend in Marco island, the shops are closed I am with my family of 5 and dollar doesn’t want to help. So I am in an unreliable vehicle that can’t be taken anywhere to fix.So I THE CLIENT had to get a ride to auto zone to buy a kit and go to a gas station to fix THEIR rental just, so I don’t have to be stuck with no vehicle and a bill.I asked for compensation at the very minimum and they said NO.On a side note I have several charges on my credit card for fuel and other random ones. I called because I had returned it with a full tank and now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to do a refund. It is not worth using this company even if the price is a little cheaper at the end you’ll pay more and have to call and wait to get your refund

There was nobody at the Dollar desk, so we had to wait for the Hertz clerk to serve us. The car was extremely dirty and smelled horrible!I advise you to avoid this place at all costs!

If I could give a 0 stars I would. Horrible experience. There is nobody at the counter with a note saying go next door to hertz. I go to hertz and they say there is no car available for me today since I booked with dollar. I’ve spend over $100 just on Uber to get from ft myers and back to tell me there’s no car available when you advertise online that it is available. CUSTOMERS BE WARNED!!!

Excellent prices and always make a reservation. Very polite staff. Be certain to fill up your rental vehicle with gas upon return because their price for gas replacement is exorbitant. Check it out and Blessings JMAC ????

Returned a car here. Needs more people working. Went once in afternoon and waited 20 minutes and left. Came back later and the hertz agent took care of us.

They don't tell you that if you go for example to Miami Airport, everytime you get a toll (even if this is 0,50 cents) the dollar company charge you 9,99 extra for every toll.I went to Miami Airport getting 5 little tolls (between 0,50 and 1 dollar each). This company charged me 60 dollars in total! It doesn't have any sense!!

The guys at the Naples location were great. HOWEVER, the dropoff at Miami International Airport was not good. When we arrived early in the morning for our flight, NO ONE WAS THERE to accept the car. They had a van blocking the driveway in their section off the garage. After driving around the car return location, then around Miami to get back to the garage entrance, suddenly the Dollar/Thrifty personnel were there and the van blocking the entrance was gone.

The worst company of all time even worst than Comcast which I believe they have come up in the last few years. Rented a car and after waiting an hour in line finally got moving. Dropped it off an hour early but was charged 6 hours late with over $300 in fees. Called twice & offered to send my Uber record of being picked up at the Naples airport location where the rental was dropped off, they told no it’s fine but as of today have not credited my account. I finally had to dispute it with my credit card. This company is full of scammers.

I picked up a car today 6/28 when I entered the car there was an off smell. After inspection of the car I found a dirty diaper stuffed between the back seats( just pee ) thank god. Also half a sandwich. I paid an upgrade for this vehicle so I called to receive a refund on my upgrade and Mike the bald guy with an Apple Watch that works at the Hertz counter who helped me and called me bud and pal only offered me to return the car for an exchange. So to help me he offered to inconvenience me further. No thanks Pal Bud! I cleaned the car myself before putting my son inside. COVID TRIPLE clean bogus.

Was told we could add an extra driver for $65 but when we got to the airport we told it was $13.50 a day - prohibitive for a 24 day rental. We couldn't even talk to a Thrifty customer rep because they had us go to the Hertz counter. At least the car is nice.

Wow, probably 200 people in line to be helped by 2 employees. I waited about an hour then decided the non-refundable reservation wasn’t worth what would probably be a 3+ hour wait. Rented from another company and was on our way in 15 minutes.

Thursday March 5th we went to 560 Terminal Dr in Naples, FL to rent a car from Thrifty for the day to drive back to Ft Lauderdale. Apon arrival a man in a Hertz black polo “helped” us. He was a white male with shaggy dirty blonde hair (not wearing a name tag) at 11:00A.M.I had rented a car from thrifty on our way down to Florida at the Ft Lauderdale airport. I turned 25 on this trip and am from Ohio. That being said, I’m in the process of getting my new ID. I had my “old” ID with my paper from the BMV stating that it was my official ID until my new one arrives with everything you need on it.In Ft Lauderdale the lady gave me no issues.. since it is currently my CORRECT and LEGAL form of ID (even had my passport). However, in Naples, the Hertz/Thrifty guy told me under no circumstances was this allowed. That the person in Ft Lauderdale messed up and they couldn’t rent with me again. We asked to speak with a manager and he snapped with a smirk on his face and said “I am the manager here.” We said there must be somebody else we can talk to and he just looked away and continued to tell us we couldn’t rent. The other person who I was with had to rent the car instead. Which I wasn’t comfortable with, hence why I was going to rent it again. This was unsafe and made me uncomfortable. They were not in the right position to rent a car nor drive, but because Buddy at the counter didn’t care to do his job, he had to.I am beyond disgusted and upset with not only Thrifty but Hertz as well for having an employee so cocky and unwilling to work with. Get with the times. Learn about other states and their ID’s. My form from the BMV is certified, legal, up to date, the only form of ID an Ohioan would have during this transition time, as well as having numbers and a website to look up for verification purposes.I, and my friend, will never rent from Thrifty, Hertz or Dollar again thanks to this employee and his ignorance to a legal, current, up-to-date state ID.
