Do not use this company, it is the worst thing there is, I paid them and 9 months later it was that they started with the roof, they left it in the middle, I have been waiting for them to finish it for two months and they still do not, they always have an excuse, but the worst thing is that they do not pay the people they hire to remove the roof, the people who started making the roof called me and asked me if I can pay them because the company does not want to pay them. They took the Check for insurance and they do not finish the job. Be careful.!!

A representative from Double G came to our house advising that we had damage on our roof due to recent storms. He expressed they had a team of professionals that would work with our insurance company and lawyers. At the end of the day, we wouldn’t have to pay for our roof. We decided to engage their services. Long story short, after ALOT of follow up on our part, we finished all processes with insurance and lawyers. They quoted us a price of $60k, roof and gutters. We were shocked. Needless to say, we had to pay ALOT out of pocket. That was a lot more than ANYONE in our community paid. They ruined our driveway, as no one was here to monitor the delivery of the roof. They offered to have the driveway power washed and assumed no responsibility for the negligence and damage. In addition, the lanai areas that they did damage, they did not repair and offered a nominal discount. STAY AWAY! This has been the most frustrating and expensive experience we have ever had.

The quality of the work seem fine, but Double G Construction replaced my roof in anticipation of a home sale. The concrete tile roof was completed two week prior to the sale of the home. Jason Montgomery, the sales person clearly indicated the warranty was transferable. However, thirty days after closing there were a few tiles that needed to be adjusted and they refused to come out claiming the warranty was not transferable. The contract does confirm the warranty was not transferable but that is not what what was communicated in the sales process. Buyer beware - Read your contract and don't rely on their sales people!

Beware of this construction company. My friend gave them a check for over 100,000 and they have yet to do the work. A year and counting and they won't return her call.

My client paid 50% of the project cost on November 2023, and after nearly a year of silence and no work performed, it’s clear this company is in breach of contract. Despite repeated attempts to get a response, my client has been met with complete disregard.
The honorable thing to do at this point is to immediately return the money. If this matter isn’t resolved promptly, my client will pursue all available legal remedies, including formal complaints with regulatory authorities, filing a construction lien, and potential legal action for damages. The financial and legal consequences of continued inaction will be severe.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Run away as fast as you can! My experience has been they are: deceptive, dishonest and corrupt! They added on charges without notifying me, the new roof leaks, excessive delays and horrendous communication are amongst the multitude of issues. Please save yourself massive headaches and learn from my mistake and do not hire them! ☠️. We need to start a class action lawsuit against this company!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Douglas M. from Double G and I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism and friendliness. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and demonstrated a genuine, family-oriented approach that made the process much more comfortable.
One of the standout aspects of working with Douglas was his diligence in coordinating with my insurance company to get the project approved. This was no small feat, and his efforts ensured that everything moved forward smoothly.
While the roofing project is still in progress and I can't yet comment on the company as a whole, I can wholeheartedly recommend Douglas for his dedication and trustworthy nature. He truly went above and beyond to provide excellent service.
Thank you Douglas for your hard work and commitment!

Double G construction did an exceptional job installing my new roof from start to finish. I want to thank Mark W., Jason H., and Michael F. for explaining the entire process (including Permit), providing constant updates, and ensuring that the job was done on time.
Thank you - Sanon

If I could give no stars I would. I am at a loss. First I should have known by the practice of how they lied in the initial phone call to say they were going to be in my communities to do roof inspections. The next day when they arrived at my gated community the gate called me to allow them access. So first issue the lied and weren't in my community they used me to get into the community. Then they inspected the roof and the salesman came into my home to review with my mother. I had family staying with us for a couple of months due to the hurricane so there were 6 dogs in the house. We asked if the salesman was ok with dogs he said yes and proceeded to play with them. After he sat down at the table the dogs were barking and being loud. He got up from table to calm the dogs down those were his words. The 6 dogs were excited. Not sure if my brothers dog who doesn't live her scratched or nipped at him but he did receive a small ( less than 1/2 inch) scratch. Not a puncture but a scratch. My mom as a Nurse Practitioner got first aid and clean and treated the mark. She put a small bandage on it and asked if he needed further attention. He said no and sat down and continued with the whole "sales" process. Also trying to add solar to it as well. He was in house for over an hour. My mother told him she could not make the decision because I was the decision maker and he would have to make an appointment to meet with me. He scheduled to come back the next day to meet with me. The next day I had to of course grant him access to the community. He arrived at the house and went through the entire process with me. We asked about his wound and he said he was fine. There was no bandage and I couldn't see a visible mark. At the end I felt uncomfortable with how they were trying scare me into using a public adjuster and now understand that he was misquoting the law about adjusters and my ability to get help from anyone else. I told him I'd like to get another quote and review my options even though he never gave me an actual quote just that they will cover all my damages minus my deductible. I was worried about if my other damage beside the roof would be completed if their main focus and control was just the roof. After he left I did get the other quotes and decided to go the direction of a public adjuster. So 5 weeks after his sales pitch to me he leaves a voice message for my mother. She of course has be unavailable due to medical issues so when I finally listen to voice mail which I still have recording of, he went on to state, " hi this is XXXX and I assume you must of decided to go another direction with your roof but we are still here to do the job and by the way a a doctor said I should maybe get a tenths shot. Can you let me know more about the dog that bit me." I of course didn't call the company back because I felt like I was being bullied or coursed into a contract and threatened because of the dog. Then another month goes by and it seems he's called my homeowners and report a dog bite claim. I only know this because my insurance called me about it. He did not go to a doctor and did not miss any work. He wasn't emotionally effected because he chose to return the next day and entered the house with dogs loose again. He told my insurance company he got up to calm the dogs and he was bitten by the black dog. He confirmed he never saw a doctor and never missed any work. He told my insurance company he got up to calm the dogs and he was bitten by the black dog. He confirmed he never saw a doctor and never missed any work. When the insurance rep asked what it was he was looking for he said my arm was sore so I think I deserve something for it. When she asked him how he got our insurance info he said he got it from the inspection he did from the roof. So he took my personal information from his employers paperwork only because he asked to see my policy to see what my deductible was and what insurance would cover. I never filled anything out or signed anything. So I never wrote my p
