Beautiful hotel on the beach. Our room was more than I could have asked for. Full kitchen and view of the gulf and very clean.I was disappointed that not all of the servers were on board or educated about food allergies and accommodations that the hotel could make.

BED BUG INFESTATIONI don't even know where to start with this place. First off the manager in training, David, was extremely rude and unhelpful. He denied my family from staying the first night saying they're "sold out" but they had multiple rooms available. We came back the night after and while the other employee was selecting our room David comes over and whispers to him "put them in here" not sure what that meant. Now to the worst part, we were setting up the pullout sofa when we saw something weird on the mattress. So I called from desk and asked for someone to come or at least bring a roll away bed. But they couldn't care less. So I wrapped sheets over the couch itself. When my family and I got up we were covered in bed bug bites (confirmed my an urgent care). We went to the manager and asked to check out early, once we checked out I saw they billed me for the whole stay.Do yourself a favor and stay at the double tree a couple blocks away.

Beautiful, not close to describe. From the moment you walk through the front entry, and see only the water. To the experience and the people there who actually make sure to present and cater you making the entire experience amazing. Consider this a dream come true in a world where it seems forced to care about the client. Not here, and the amenities are exceptional. Clean and inviting atmosphere, with the most beautiful sunset views from anywhere. Access direct to beach and Pool side lounging and service is perfect for anyone wanting to catch the florida rays. 10/10 experience from the start, from everyone and will never forget it.

Sad to say that the Edgewater has lost a step. We stayed here in February of 2020 (last trip for a while!) and had an amazing stay. The room and facilities were clean and well-maintained. The food was high quality and the service was unbeatable. We were greeted with champagne upon arrival and felt well taken care of at every step. When we were planning our trip back to Naples this year, we didn't think twice about where to stay. It was an obvious choice to go back to the Edgewater. Unfortunately, our experience last week did not compare. The greeting upon arrival was fine but not excellent - no one to help us get in from the rain, no champagne, no gifts for the kids, etc. The room felt dated and some things were just a bit off - sheets were ripped, rug was dirty, doors to the patio never locked properly and had to be slammed shut...which then woke us up when guests above and below us were attempting to close their doors. Food was fine but nothing memorable. The pool service was lovely though there did seem to be confusion among the guests about the larger pool. Despite there being kid toys floating in it, no signage, and not a word from the hotel staff, some guests were under the impression that the larger pool was for adults only. This led to an unpleasant interaction between another guest and our children. Strange. The setting is still amazing but feels like most everything else needs a refresh.

Oh good location however of staff was giving incorrect information I. Hotel spoke to manager Veronica she was not able to resolve the issue and kept mentioning that all her staff “knows” yet what called and asked several times staff was giving incorrect information. Although apologetic Miss Veronica should understand that when people are in vacation time is of the essence And incorrect information in proper guidance has a huge impact on Guest experience. I would recommend the Ritz Carlton, or other hotel options when in the area.

Stayed at the Edgewater the week after Christmas 2023. Arrived around 8pm. Front desk clerk said I couldn't check in without my husband. What year is this??The north elevator wasn't working, so we had no way to get our luggage to the 4th floor. I noticed the elevator hadn't been inspected since 2021, or 2 years overdue. Same with the fire extinguishers. Makes me worry about life safety and the safety of my family. That week, they were out of all soups, olives, Woodford Reserve bourbon, Caymus wine and horseradish. You would think a property that charges this much would know how many guests to expect and order accordingly.

Our two bedroom suite was right on the beach. Spectacular sunsets! The hotel is well maintained. Beautiful beach. The hotel restaurant is Coast. Excellent menu and fantastic service. A plus, the hotel provides a shuttle on demand to take you into the shopping and dining area of Naples. We spent 5 delightful days at this beautiful resort.Rooms: This is an all suites resort. Rooms are well maintained. Our rooms had phenomenal views of the Gulf.Walkability: The resort is right on the beach making long walks on the beach enjoyable.

I love this hotel. The location is just beautiful, right on the water, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to take you to the main downtown area of Naples where all the restaurants are. The rooms are enormous and include large kitchens.
