This location is temporarily closed. I rented a car thru Expedia from the Sarasota airport hertz to be returned at this branch of Hertz in Naples. The airport attendant in Sarasota did not tell me there would be a convenience fee for a toll pass and just said “want a toll pass?” (I’m from Ohio where tolls are paid in person at the booth so I didn’t think one was needed.) I was also not told this branch in Naples is closed. Arrived with a full tank of gas as requested and was told by a sign on the door to drive a half hour away to return my car at the other Hertz location. I’m sure I’d be late at that point and charged for overtime as well as the gas used to drive a half hour away. Not to mention the waste of time on vacation and not having a ride this far away and the cost of an Uber/Lyft back. Not impressed. Customer service on the phone at the airport said “sorry” and that was it.

Didn't have the car we reserved, but the one we got was ok. The clerk was having a though time. I'd recommend a different Hertz location.

You know it's not going well when they blame you for not having a car because you rented on a Holiday on their website. I guess deflection of responsibility is part of their training. We went across the street and rented from enterprise rent a car without a reservation. They were amazing.... do not waste your time with Hertz or should I say "Not Exactly"

Very efficient and friendly service. I was in and out in just under 10 minutes. Paid for a mid-size SUV but received a free upgrade to full-size. My pickup time was 8am when the store opened. I would recommend this time as I was the only customer present.

Ask for David. In and out under 15 mins, professional and knowledgeable. Not a vast selection of cars but the car I received was new, clean, and got the job done.

We reserved a car and we arrived to find out, they gave our car away to a walk up. If you come to naples, my advice is uber.

Rental cars right now are hard to come by! Many carriers have sold off a big chunk of their fleets. Many companies have furloughed or laid off workers due to covid so be kind to your rental agent when you go in. Also it might take you a little extra time to pick up your car due to staffing. Please remember that when you step up to the counter. With that side note being said I have had a great experience with this Hertz location. We had prepaid for an suv and when we got here only a compact car was left. They told us they had an suv coming back and that they would call or to stop by and we could swap it out. Stopped by early the next day and they had the suv ready to swap out. While some people would be upset by this mix up you must understand my first statement. The staff at these locations are doing the best they can for their customers.

It's no wonder this company is failing. Manager at this location could not care less. Doesn't even pretend to care. Some of the worst customer experience I have ever received. Took 2 weeks to return a simple phone call, at which point the manager told me to call the 800 number as he was completely unwilling to help. Called the 800 number, waited on hold multiple times after explaining the issue, and even then they simply "put me on hold" again (aka hung up on me). Then I had to call back and start over. All for nothing. They stole my money and are making it impossible to get it back. Shameful fraud of a company.

This location provides horrible customer service. My rental agreement said to return the car at that location on a given day at a given time. The location was "temporarily closed" at that time. I left the car, but there was no drop box for the keys so I kept them with the intent to mail them in. The next morning, the location called and threatened substantial fees unless I returned the keys immediately. I used a friend's car to drive back to the location, but they still charged a late fee even though the car was there on time. Unreal.

Hertz Seagate has terrible service. I was told to go to Hertz to rent a car and that State Farm would cover all or most of the costs. When I first went to Hertz, Bob I believe swiped my card and said there would be a 50$ deposit. I did have to ask him how much money would be taken off my card or lose he would have just swiped it telling me nothing. Later I saw that more than twice that amount was debited from my card. I called and still could not get further clarification from this obviously brain dead incompetent. Later Hertz tried to call me, but did not leave a message. Later, the charge disappeared from my account, and then two days later it appeared again. By then it was Saturday and Hertz did not open until today. I saw a message from State Farm which indicated that they had paid an amount similar to the amount taken from my account; however, the debit still shows on my account. Of course I called and the same fool picked up the phone. After he had nothing to say, I just hung up the phone..... I can only conclude that Hertz Seagate has a total fool working there who obviously is very lazy and makes no effort to let customers know where their money is going!!!!!!

Hello, my experience was horrendous! My car needed to be fixed and I had to go to this location to rent a car. The man behind the counter asked for my card and drivers license and then began to swipe my card. I asked him how much I would be charged and he said 50$ deposit, but overall seemed unsure. I checked my account and I had been charged more than twice this amount. I called back to get clarification and I guess the same person acted unsure. Later the charge was removed from my account, but now more than a week later another charge appears on my account. I see that this Hertz location called but did not leave a message. I have no idea what is going on at all and cannot call because they are closed until Monday. I have no money so I notice when something is out of my account. These are awful business practices!!!! Obviously they could care less if they take your money and cannot or will not specify the charges. That is thievery!!!!who cares if they hand out food if they take peoples money so they cannot buy food,
