Had carpet put in one of my rooms. They came out and measured for $35. That went towards the carpet. We had samples shipped to our house, we then picked the one we liked and ordered it. They had the carpet installed in a little over a week. 3 guys showed up and just went straight to work. They had the carpet out and then back in within about 2 hours.

Was going to have them carpet a bedroom. Quote came back WAY high claiming sq ft more than 50 more than what should be. Total sf is approximately 180 and they wanted to charge me for almost 240sf! What a total waste of the $35 charge to come out and measure! Don't bother wasting your money. They are a rip off!

Someone in the tool dept was very helpful.// I went back into the store because I needed something in the cleaning area. there was no one in customer service, there was no one in the cleaning or bulb area. Twice I've tried to catch a kid on a forklift; he saw me but ignored the fact I was trying to get his attention.//I called the store from inside the store. 7-mins, no one picked up. I called again as I was walking to my car. I chose the paint dept. - he had just been speaking with the manager and was transferring me to her. 7-mins later, she never picked up.//I'll buy my 3 items at Walmart - it will probably be cheaper. AND I know that someone will be in customer service.

I purchased a full suite of kitchen appliances from this store on October 10, 2018. I received the merchandise on October 16, 2018. I have had several problems with the refrigerator but I am being told that I cannot exchange the item even if I want to trade up and pay more because I didn't report the issue within 48 hours. I did report the problem on October 18th but I did not call the correct number. I was told that Ozzy would call me and he did not. I have sent a detailed letter to the store manager and e-mailed something called teamsocialhomedepot.com. I guess we shall see if there is even a shred of customer service left at this store.

I bought a stove from you guys at the beginning of September. I have had nothing but problems. The first delivery the truck broke down and then the next two delivery's the stove was damaged on each. I am now out of work for 3 days on these dates. I told the delivery service that I had to have it delivered today before noon because I can't take off work. The ladies told me to call in the morning on the service line. I did that this morning and they told me that there is

Weirdest, poor service HD the a Baby Store, with less choices Not too many people give a crap here Here they unload deliveries in the "Pro zone" and call the sheriffs dept to issues tickets for illegal parking, as best as I can figure, in stead of unloading in back like other common sense stores The other day they shut down the ONLY full servic register with you announcement and we were left to figure out where to go Another visit, the guy moved my cart and tried closing off the aisle before I was done shopping And don't g t me start d on the phone usage while checking out You are lucky you are the only game in the neighborhood

The return area is so disorganized and SLOW. People stanfing in line and then one old @*** goes in the middle of the desk and the clerk takes him before everyone on line! The clerks are on the store phone and computers I assume looking up who knows what. Nobody called for back up. Its by design. They dont want you to return anything. Ill go to ACE.

Home Depot isn't what it used to be. When they opened, they had a friendly, knowledgeable staff and were eager to help you find what you need. Now, you can stand next to an employee that is reluctantly helping a customer, patiently waiting your turn, and when they are done with the other person, they will turn and walk away without even making eye contact.

While I appreciate the "one stop" shopping experience, their return policy for gas powered items is very poor. Twice I purchased items that were defective when I tried to use them. In both cases, Home Depot would not return or exchange the item, but said they would attempt to fix it and then send it to the manufacturer if they could not. They said the process takes 4-6 weeks. I could not wait that long to mow my lawn or cut down the trees that fell over in my driveway.

I recently completely remodeled my home and used Home Depot everyday for materials, from large to small. There were instances when I went that I may have bought to much of an item, the wrong item, or may have bought two similar items but different sizes to make sure that I didn't have to make an additional trip. All backed by the if you don't use it just return it comments from the sales associates. Fast forward to after I finished the project. I went to return items that I did not need. Instead of digging up all the receipts I just took the credit card I used to make the purchases because they can look up the receipts. They went through it all and had to stop once and give me store credit for 270 dollars. I was fine with the store credit since the purchases were more than 90 days ago. However, when they went to process the last 200 dollars it was declined. For fraud alert, however, the credit card showed the purchases and found the receipts. I wasn't even allowed to go back and keep certain things that maybe I would have a chance of using. I called The Retail Equation who is the company that does the dirty work of just telling you no, sorry, outta luck. SO DON'T BELIEVE THEIR RETURN POLICY, AND WHEN DOING LARGE PROJECTS THAT YOU MAY HAVE TO RETURN ITEMS AFTER THE JOB IS COMPLETE SHOP ELSEWHERE. HOME DEPOT IS NOT CONSTRUCTION RETURN FRIENDLY!

Bought all new kitchen appliances. I had my microwave less than 3 weeks, no power. Called the GE service company, the repairman stated it was the mother board, which he didn't have. It had to be ordered, since I had the microwave for more than 48 hours they had to repair it. It's been over a week, still no board. I contacted GE customer service, same story, waiting on decisions from higher ups! I bought this set and paid cash with my hard earned money, no one seems to care! I'll never buy another GE product, or buy a high end ticket item from Home Depot. They should just exchange it with a new microwave.
