“The idea of fruit other than grapes in wine didn't sound too appealing to me but my daughter wanted to try and they were very generous in offering samples of anything we wanted to taste. To my surprise they were actually very good, especially the sparkling wines! The woman who helped us was very nice and informative. A man at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits helped me locate what I was searching for. I have no knowledge about fine scotch & Irish whiskeys. The man gave me some good options. I had one scotch in mind already from some advice from his wife, and they had several choices of that brand at several price points. You cannot say that about too many other Walmarts. Haha. They still have tons of Christmas candy and gift sets so if you are still looking for the perfect gift for someone run don't walk to Walmart!”

“Loved my first visit to this shop. When we arrived we were the only customers, but in the 20 minutes we spent there we saw waves of customers come to pick bottles, sometimes knowing exactly what they were after and other times being expertly guided by the shop’s proprietor. My secret was to keep asking questions long enough that another customer would need help in between me making my decision so I could eavesdrop on their conversations so I could pick up even more tips! It was glorious and we ended up leaving with a nice Oregonian pinot noir. And what’s even better is now we have to go back to find something else for tonight’s dinner. It’s less like going to a wine shop and more like going to a record store. I’m not sure if that even makes sense but I’m sticking with it.”
