Communication at every level at PBS was outstanding. We were immediately alerted when any unseen issue would arise so we could discuss alternatives and solutions. Extremely impressive.

PBS Contractors performed a miracle on the FSW Collier Campus! A faculty/staff/student-led initiative to put up a Memorial Gazebo for a beloved teacher was struggling to raise enough money for the project. Equally challenging were the logistics involved to actually complete the project once sufficient funds were raised. Russell Budd of PBS came to the rescue! PBS demolished and removed a derelict fountain and replaced it with a beautiful gazebo, complete with matching brick pavers over a concrete foundation. PBS employees were professional and talented, paying attention to even the smallest details. They communicated with me regularly throughout the project, recognizing just how important this project was for our FSW Collier family. The completed gazebo is now the focal point of the library courtyard and a popular meeting place for students. I am so very thankful to PBS for their expertise, time and talents - but mostly for their generosity and community spirit! I can honestly say that this project would not have been completed without their involvement!Services: Tile work replacement

PBS Contractors, under the direction of owner Russell Budd, used their time and talent to build a memorial gazebo to honor my husband, who was a teacher at Florida Southwestern State College. There was no compensation involved, it was done in an effort to give back to the educational community and to honor my husband's memory. The completed project exceeded all expectations. It is beautiful and a wonderful space for the students to gather for conversation or relaxation. Russell's attention to detail is unparalleled. When Russell takes on a project it is done to perfection. He is a man of integrity. He has donated hours of his time to different causes and organizations in the Naples community and has helped many who are in need. You can't go wrong working with PBS contractors. On behalf of Adria Technologies, Inc., we've had the pleasure of working with PBS Contractors as a subcontractor for over a year now. We have completed several projects with them, particularly condo renovations, and would recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation. Their team is very knowledgeable and professional, the office staff (shout out to Gloria!) very responsive to phone calls and emails, and the superintendents (Mike, Skip) and project managers (Bryant) very easy to communicate with. The first time I was exposed to PBS Contractors was when I moved to SW Florida from Atlanta and I started to get involved in community affairs. I enrolled in Leadership Collier with Bart Zino and we eventually got to know each other. At that time, the construction and housing market was in a zenith but clouds were building on the horizon. Lo and behold, shortly thereafter the bottom fell out of the real estate & construction market here in SW Florida.After our LC program culmination, I continued to get to know Bart (and met Russell Budd) at Naples community and Chamber functions. I was always impressed by the concern and diligence of these gentlemen to continue to do what was right and in the best interest of their colleagues even when times were lean. It was apparent that they were doing everything possible - sometimes even against their own self-interest - to keep things going for the company and its valued employees during this difficult time. While I never asked, you could tell they were making significant personal sacrifices to allow their people to put bread on the table for their families and keep a roof over their heads.Our region is currently exploding with growth. There are hundreds of contractors in SW Florida and more emerging each and every day as our local economy expands. Time will tell whether or not these firms will be willing to invest the same time, talent and treasure in our great community as PBS Contractors has over the past 35 years. One thing holds true - this region is a better place having had PBS Contractors in the neighborhood for all these years. They helped build Naples and in a sense greater SW Florida, and each project is a chapter of a wonderful story to be enjoyed for generations to come.Service: Remodeling
