This hotel canceled my reservation I had for over 2 months 3 days before my arrival, stating they were fully booked. Um yea... what about MY reservation I made long before you were fully booked?! Buyer beware!

Stayed 1 night on the second floor facing the pool/courtyard January 2023. The outside garden area is beautiful, and the beds were clean and seemed fairly new. This is a "motel" with several connected 2 story buildings and external doors. Plenty of cameras for safety. Location in Naples was very convenient. Bathroom was older and a bit small (not an issue for me), but clean. The only maintenance issue was a large crack between the bathroom counter and wall (missing grout?), and one electric outlet was disconnected from the wall, and that area of the wall could use a wipe down - see picture. It was too cold outside to use the pool (50s in the evening), but the pool is heated and was very clean. They do not offer breakfast. But otherwise the room, including the fridge, bed, bathroom, and tables (the most important parts) were clean and comfortable. Decent price (AAA rate). I would stay here again, as its a good balance between inexpensive price and level of hotel quality.Rooms: Room and bed was comfortable.Walkability: Right on the main road, but not walkable to attractions. Great location to drive within town.Food & drinks: No breakfast, but did have vending machines.

What can I say... . A serious renovation is required. Brown walls, black furniture, red curtains, beige tiles... very old fashioned. I walked around the room and when I stepped on the wet floor of the shower, my feet released a black color... probably they sweep the floor but not wash it. The room is cleaned every third day. Really? COVID makes hotel job cheaper, not for the customers. Great location though.

The stay itself overall was decent. Reasonably priced, nice looking room and decent amenities. We just stayed for one night. I called the day before to put my guest on the list so she could check in because I wouldn’t be there until eight and she would be there at three. The person at the front desk said this was fine. The next day my guest texted me at three saying they wouldn’t let her check in. I called and they said it was against their policy. Just frustrating when there’s inconsistencies in staffing knowledge with what seem like simple things.

This hotel offers very clean, comfortable, spacious rooms located perfectly to access the beaches in Naples. It further offers a heated pool. Rates are exceptional for area.

Stayed in this hotel once before. It was fine for the money - clean, simple, convenient. Then I booked my second stay for two nights business trip to Naples. Unfortunately, my flight to Fort Myers got cancelled two hours before departure. I was actually on my way to the airport in Boston when email about flight cancellation came in. Out of my two night stay hotel charged me for one night and refused to allow to keep one. Basically, my whole reservation was nulled, and I was charged for one night stay. I understand that this was outside of their 48-hrs cancellation policy. But life happens. There are unforeseen circumstances such as airline cancellation just before boarding time, etc. This was out of my control and due to no fault of my own. I would very much appreciate if I could keep one of my original two nights as I still needed a place to stay. Well... No such luck. I would advise against booking with them. They kept one night worth of $$ but lost my future business for good. And I would advise any of my business partners from booking with them.

I feel like the reviews saying this place is nice are fake. The pictures on the hotels website are very deceiving. First off this place cannot be called a hotel, it's a motel. The only thing that might be good about the hotel is the location. The hotel itself is VERY run down. The rooms are small, for example when you close the bathroom door it hits the toilet to close. The pillows on the beds were the size of throw pillows! The TVs were from the early 90s, first flat TV's invented. The pool was actually decent and the outdoor furniture at the pool were nice but the towels they give you cover about 1/4 of your body. The wifi at the motel is not secure so don't plan on using it if you need to work. The redeeming thing for my family was the very friendly stray cat the pool which would play with my daughter who loves cats. We left this place as fast as we could.

Very clean rooms with comfortable bedding. Huge heated pool which is kept very clean. Hotel brings "old Florida charm". Staff are very friendly.Close to Downtown Naples shopping and restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay and love the tropical foliage that adorns the property. I will be back!

On December 25, 2022 the heat stopped working and it was actually cold outside at night so when we asked them to fix it, they gave us a heater that was not sufficient to heat up the room. When we went to tell them the heater wasn’t sufficient, they gave us a second one. Once we plugged in the second heater, the power went out completely and we were in the dark.On top of all this, the water pipe burst in our building and we had no water whatsoever starting at 10pm. We couldn’t even flush the toilet since there was no water. We were about to just leave the hotel room on Christmas Day since we had no power, no water, no heat. They then told us they had another room in another building of the hotel that had water, power and heat. The WHOLE time they had this room available but instead chose to give us heaters and keep us without water the entire night. Very despicable service, heartless really to do this.I would not recommend you stay here.

I really wish I’d read some of the reviews before booking here. The staff here are extremely inflexible when it comes to changes. Every other hotel I’ve stayed at in other cities understands that life happens and things go wrong sometimes - the hospitality industry (i.e restaurants, hotels, and the rest) have all the power to keep customers happy, even if they lose a buck.Spend one minute speaking to the staff and it’s obvious there is a stubborn, bull-headed mentality with the staff and the management. Be as polite or rude as you want, you’re not getting anywhere if you don’t play by their rules.Management of Collins Hotel - you have choices to be better hosts. Just like your customers have choices to be vocal when they see you making mistakes.

THEY DON'T HONOR RESERVATIONS. BEWARE THEY CAN CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION, JUST SO THEY CAN GET MORE MONEY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!I reserved a room several months ago, Hurricane IAN hit they canceled our reservation. The days after the cancelation I noticed they were still offering the room we booked, at the times we chose, at significantly higher rates! I called the hotel I was told there was no damage to hotel, it was confirmed it was all about getting more money for the room and the employee wasn't happy with this either. It sounded like they had numerous calls about this issue. WHY RESERVE A ROOM IF THEY CAN CANCEL IT AT ANYTIME THEY BELIEVE THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY CANCELING and REEBOOKING TO ANOTHER GUEST. STAY AWAY!

This is a hidden gem. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Had a maintenance issue. The man came immediately and fixed the issue. The hotel staff is very personable. We loved the pool, which is open 24 hrs! The grounds are beautiful. We certainly will be staying here on our next

Very disappointed with this hotel. I came in from CA for a few days and really wanted a comfortable clean space to stay in.At first sight the rooms are old and the bathroom had dirt or mold around the tub and walls. Then on my third night in I discovered I had huge roaches staying with me. Roaches on steroids. I called the front desk, they sent maintenance over and I ended up moving my room per my request, they wanted to just spray.. to top it off, we were told they had breakfast, their breakfast was apples and oranges in a to go bag. I called them when I was back in CA asking to be comped just for the two nights I had slept with roaches and they refused.Don’t stay here!
