I have been bringing my dog, Drew, to Ruffgers for 5 years and he is always so happy to go play with his many friends. He loves the staff, and I feel very comforted knowing he is in a loving safe place. He goes and gets his bag out of the pantry when he wants to go play!

Mia loves her time at Ruffgers. She is treated like a queen, everyone knows her and she comes home exhausted; after all, training and playing is exhausting! So glad Ruffgers is nearby!

Ruffgers and their staff are absolutely amazing. We have participated in many activities such as one-on-one trainings, class trainings, boarding, and their grooming services. Each service performed has been exceptional, professional, and a very positive experience for both myself and Kashi (Shiba Inu). Kashi loves going to Ruffgers and loves all the different types of care he receives, the patience the staff has for him, and all the affection the staff gives him. Each time we go to Ruffgers, Kashi gets super excited and is ready partake in their activities. In addition, I feel at peace knowing he is in good hands with these wonderful individuals. Thank you to all the staff and all their services they offer. You are an amazing team! ?

Ruffger’s loves your furry children. We’ve been taking our “perfect children” to Ruffger’s for the last 4+ years. They go every Wednesday for a day of play with all their doggie friends. We added on enrichment and have noticed that the mental stimulation has improved their mental alertness and intuitive personality. When we walk in with the boys, (Danny and Vinnie) we’re greeted by staff who “love them” and it shows as they run over to be acknowledged by their people friends! Truly the total quality package for pets and their owners! Thank you Ruffger’s staff and friends!

Our boy Charley Horse loves to go to Ruffgers, whether it is for class, boarding or daycare. He squeaks with excitement before I even turn into the parking lot. The staff have been excellent with Charley, who started out as a slightly scared and uneasy Australian Cattle Dog, who as they tend to be, was quite reluctant to try daycare. We had worked with him on reactivity but he was still having a bit of trouble. Through their patient and loving care, Charley has become very adventurous and outgoing, always ready to try something new, with someone new. He is now great at the vet and even at home with workmen and visitors. I believe this is largely due to the great socialization and work in open spaces at Ruffgers. We are very happy with our experience here and highly recommend them for all your doggie needs.

Ruffgers Dog University is the place our dogs have safely romped and played while we were away from home. The staff are attentive and our dogs have received excellent care and attention. Once when we had a special care request, the staff did a great job accommodating us. Several months later, we returned for a another visit. As we walked in, they recognized our dog and immediately greeted her by name. She was excited to see them again. Pretty impressive!

I moved to Naples, FL, after living in Chicago for 5+ years. I had to start over with getting my 70lb Siberian Husky situated, with daycare to play with friends and intermittent training for stimulation and behavior upkeep for 6 months. Ruffgers was the best thing that happened to us! Skye would be so happy every time we dropped her off. The entire staff treat the dogs like you do. They love them just as much! I couldn’t recommend Ruffgers enough and wish we could take them with us on our next move to Seattle. Thank you for everything, Ruffgers family!

Unfortunately, the care provided is not what it used to be. Frequent staff turnover makes consistency difficult. After a 9-day stay, both of my dogs came home sick. One did not receive medication prescribed for a UTI, which the staff did take accountability for. The girl who checked us in was new and "should not have been checking people in". I was told that "she is no longer with the company". Upon arrival home, our dog was noticeably uncomfortable and exhibiting abdominal tenderness, yelping in pain when touched. Our Vet placed her on medication and she is on the mend. Our other dog has been refusing all food and vomiting since coming home, symptoms consistent with not receiving her medication. This has happened previously after boarding when staff did not administer her medication, resulting in Veterinary care. This time is no different. I write this as I sit at the Vet. My dog is dehydrated, nauseous, and will be receiving a number of medications to get her well. Per the Vet, these symptoms are consistent with not receiving her medication. I will provide the documentation to Ruffgers as requested, but am not sure anything will be done to rectify this situation. Maddie, the Assistant Manager, knows my girls well and has been helping me navigate through this, but she can only do so much. We board frequently and are year-round customers, but I don't anticipate returning. I spent nearly $1300 to board for 9 days, and am now spending several more hundred dollars to get my girls better ... What a nightmare.

We started sending our minigolden doodle to Ruffgers Naples when he was 6 months old, he’s now one year and he LOVES it! We’re told he’s made lots of friends. He is more calm in our home on the days he goes. And he’s learning agility; which he seems to enjoy. The staff is great! They have been very helpful with scheduling and communicating with us about our puppy’s time with them. They do a wonderful job!

Traìne was born a Puerto Rican street dog, who endured hard conditions and a back leg amputation before being adopted and moving to Naples. As such, he struggled with fear and anxiety and was reactive to dogs and people. Through the careful tutelage of the Ruffgers trainers and staff, in only a year, he has made tremendous strides: earning his titles in Canine Good Citizenship, Advanced Canine Good Citizenship, Urban Canine and Community Canine. He also feels comfortable and thrives at Ruffgers whenever he boards. I highly recommend!
