I needed to rent a truck for a short time and this place was easy to deal with, helped me with a mistake I made and was happy to do it. easy check in and drop off process and professional staff. I would recommend this location.

There is a customer service person who has been there a long time and who is obnoxious and difficult to deal with. I witnessed again on my last rental her extremely difficult nature in observing her treatment of customers before and after me. In my case, the manager had to come out and solve the problem and even rolled his eyes when she continued to argue with customers. We as regular customers cringe when we go into this location and have to deal with her. It’s time to move her into a different job, one where she is not dealing with people.

"Reservation Guarantee" is NOT at all what those 2 words would mean to anyone...
I was told that it just means, "a Uhaul representative is guaranteed to call you..." So do NOT reserve your truck online, the reservation you make means nothing and the representative will blame you for "not noticing a checkbox". (I still haven't found the box I missed, but I did double check and it said "reservation guarantee" in green letters. Again, not true at all!

Great staff. Line wait was a little to be desired. I believe it had to do with software/computer issues. All in all, great experience, especially for the man/men checking us in and out outside preparing our truck

They charged my card for additional mileage but could not provide me with proof. I sent them the pictures of the mileage but they could not verify anything on their end. The employees there have horrible customer service skills. Even the managers have ghetto attitudes! I spoke to one of the managers several times to ask where to send my evidence and she deliberately avoided giving me the email address. I will be reaching out to report them to the BBB.

I recommend to do a pickup. I called for mine. Everything went fast and smooth. Moving can be hectic so you definitely want a U-Haul truck at tamiami trail. The customer service is great.

Added 6 quarts of oil and still was half quart short of full.
left rear tire had 28 psi other tires had 70 psi

I feel as if I was over charged. On the paperwork it says I has 1000 miles. But on the return receipt it says 960ish. I asked for an extra day before I even picked the uhaul up. This I was supposed to have been given an extra 130 off for delivering in Naples and not fort myers. Which was 45-50 minutes one way outside of my house. Not only did I not receive my discounts and money back for less miles and delivery to Naples. They charged me $57 more. This will be the last time I spend money on u-haul trucks. I’d rather pay more for Penske and not be overcharged and lied to.

Truck Worked as supposed to. Somewhat Clean.
Why 1 star? Scammy personnel.
My guys refilled the tank at the same level as it was picked up, but still charged for $12 extra worth of EZ Fuel Sales? I even called them but brushed it off as if they couldn't check. Come on man, where's the integrity.

Back of the box van Smelt like a kennel even found some dog food and driver door did not close properly, so it ended up leaving me stranded with a dead battery

Great guys were very helpful. There was a woman the first time we used Uhaul and she was so great we went back when the need came up again. Guy who checked us in was ok. The guy who checked us out upon our return was fabulous.

I ony give 5 stars thanks to Danny, if it wasn't for him I would give 2-3 stars.We rented a truck here about a month ago. The system did not work correctly and when we arrived there was no truck that we had booked, only large ones. We agreed to a fifteen foot one, but the air conditioning did not work in it. It was the only one fifteen foot truck, the others was even larger, and I didn’t want to drive a huge truck. We had to reschedule our departure. But thanks to Danny, we were able to leave the next day. He solved the problem. He apologized on behalf of the company, he found us a ten foot truck as we wanted and reserved it. He was very nice, helpful and friendly. He smoothed out all the negativity from the unsuccessful at first rental and the lost day. I think the company should value employees like Danny. They not only solve problems, but also leave a good impression. Such employees are the real face of the company. Thanks a lot Danny for your help and that sunny smile you have!:)

2001 Tamiami Trail East Location Truck ran well, GREAT service initially, good communication.HOWEVER.. Brakes need servicing, AND Irented the van with a 1/4 of a tank, brought it back with a quarter of a tank (after topping it off), and still got charged $30 to fill the tank back to 1/4.Not cool, will be protesting this. I have the receipt to show you that I topped off gas back to where it started.

Cindy was very busy, yet she took time to be patient with me and help me determine what trailer I needed to rent. It was a very nice encounter and a relief to talk to a knowledgeable associate.
