About Navy Inn
Navy Gateway Inns & Suites provides a safe, clean, and reasonably priced stay. The staff, including soldiers at the gate and front desk personnel, are consistently described as excellent, very kind, friendly, helpful, efficient, and courteous. Rooms are generally very comfortable and super clean, with comfy beds. The location is within walking distance of Duval Street. Some negative points are noted. A common issue is that guests are not always informed during reservation about the need for security clearance to enter the base. There can be maintenance problems, such as an extremely cold room on one floor with no way to adjust the temperature, a non-working TV, and noise from the air handler unit. The building shows some age but is kept up. Overall, for many, it is a wonderful stay and well worth it.
Super clean rooms and very, very comfortable. Well worth the price (which is quite a discount compared to the area) and very quiet. I plan on making a return trip!
