Before we left the hospital my husband’s threes prescriptions were called in. The most important one was an antibiotic for a serious infection.
When we got to Publix, an hour later, one of the prescriptions was ready, the second would be ready later in the day, and the most important one would not be ready for two - three days. We asked if another store had the antibiotic, we would drive to get it. They huddled with each other and then came back saying the antibiotic would be ready later in the day, instead of 2-3 days.
By the time we completed our grocery shopping, about 30 minutes, all THREE prescriptions were ready for pickup. Including the antibiotic.
Please explain how a prescription that was not going to be ready for 2-3 DAYS was suddenly ready in 30 minutes. 😠
Beware - they may tell you something isn’t available when it actually is. I don’t understand this.

My wife and I are in town from Colorado and she was completely out of her migraine medication that she needs to function. The insurance wouldn't fill it until we had already left town so we went to Publix to see if they could help us. Tracy at the pharmacy was amazing. She was patient and kind and helped us even though the transfer request was time-consuming and not easy to do. She was compassionate to my wife's health condition, and truly saved the trip for us. Thank you, Tracy!!!

THIS IS A HORRIBLE PHARMACY!! I JUST had surgery! Before leaving Pensacola Hospital the nurses called to make sure the medication was filled so I could get it on way home due to not being able to drive!!! Her exact words were Publix has a bad habit of taking way too long to have medicine ready! AND The medicine was NOT ready! I asked if I could just wait for it to be filled, And the tech told me VERY VERY rudely NO lunch was in 10 minutes and that it wasn’t scheduled to be filled until 5!! I said the hospital called to be sure it was ready before I even left . She again as rude as you can said No they NEVER called!! She called right in front of me I know she called!! I had surgery! I need my medication! AND if you are a rude person like that don’t work in public!! It ruins other people’s day for no reason! I will be transferring my medicine today! I refuse to be treated that way!

Publix just opened and has all the locals talking. I like how they set up the deli, cheese, sushi bar, and olive bar when you walk in. Lots of items to pick out and check out. Everyone was super nice and was happy to assist if you are looking for something specific. If you buy items and want to eat at Publix you can go sit up top where you have a window to look outside and also a view of the store. These bigger Publix's are giving the competition a run for their money. I did check out the bathroom while I was there and it was clean. You can sign up for their app to get coupons on Sunday when they drop. My favorite to check out are the BoGo's when they restock different items on Wednesdays.

We were visiting the area and needed a grocery store for some things-very nice store that was clean. The staff was very helpful and put together well. They had plenty of baggers and the cashiers were very kind. Also helped us find things in the store since we were not from the area. Thanks!

It's a Publix like any other.It did its job for us during our road trip. Literally just passed by to use their ATM. Needed cash for tolls and whatever else would come up.Easy peasy it was. Have to say it was convenient that the ATM was outside. Didn't have to go in and make purchases to be able to get cash back.

Love Publix but will be staying clear of their packed produce. Their 4 pack packaged corn was slimy and smelled rancid after opening and their packed organic asparagus had mushy tips and had an off funky smell. I tried washing away the slime on the corn in hopes it would be better afterwards but you can't get rid of the smell. You can still see the white slim residue on the container. I didn't want to deal with driving back to get my money back but I did call to tell them they should pull them off the shelf and the "kid" at customer service who answered just said "uh okay" and that was it.

Called the deli to make an order for fresh wings at 5:00 tonight, 12 each breaded and naked. Was told 5:45-600 they'd be ready. Show up at 6:10.... Hadn't even started cooking them. When my order was done.... I got breaded wings in a plastic lined bag (ensuring they will be soggy) and reheated naked wings from the cooler. All about 1hr after they were supposed to be ready.Absolutely pitiful. They weren't even busy, so don't give me staffing shortage BS
