Great variety. Well stocked store. Great service. Bought 2 -1/2inch Milwaukee short body impact wrenches. Same price as Home Depot, but Ace had them on sale for 25 dollars off. Saved 50 dollars. ?

March 1, 2024, my small family owned landscaping business started doing business with Proctor Ace. In the last five years, we have exclusively done business with the Proctor family. We are not a huge, profit driven lumbering giant of a landscaping company so it is very refreshing to find local people here at Proctor Ace Who go out of their way, above and beyond to provide superior customer service, very reasonable pricing, and ensure that our deliveries are timely and efficient. My clients, many residential, and many commercial properties rely on GPE to find vendors, who actually care. On a few items, maybe I could save a buck at the big box stores, but I do not receive the type of quality customer service that I received from the good people at Proctor Ace hardware. Also, I do not have the time or resources to send a crew of three men to Lowe’s or Home Depot for an hour just to get materials…. It’s just inefficient and in today’s economy, with rising cost of everything, I find that The Proctor family will always work with me on pricing and delivery. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Staff were very helpful and I found just what I needed. The store was allowing a squad of elementary-aged cheerleaders to accept donations to attend a cheerleading event; they were adorable.

Too bad I cant give this review 10 stars! After purchasing our Big Green Egg from another retailer we were met with disappointment when it wasn’t packed correctly and the fire box shattered on the transport home. The retailer tried to help us, but was a little inexperienced in handling the warranty on this product, so they called around to see if another egg retailer could help. We were told to email Travis (Neptune Bch, Proctor Ave location) with serial numbers and receipt. After a call and message left, he returned the call on his next shift of work. He said he will contact Big Green Egg and call us back with the info we would need. Next day he called us back and had us pick up the part, which was free of charge, and also gave my husband some great pointers on seasoning, using, and transporting the Egg! Travis, thank you for helping us out and saving the day!

My recent visit to Ace Hardware was overshadowed by a regrettable encounter with an employee named Travis. Despite my excitement about our family outing, Travis's attitude quickly soured the experience. His demeanor was marked by arrogance and a lack of professionalism, evident in his muttered remarks under his breath. As I navigated the store with my family, including my children, Travis's behavior left us all feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. My children, in particular, were visibly affected, expressing their disgust at the unpleasant encounter. It's disheartening when a simple trip for household supplies becomes tarnished by such negative interactions with staff members like Travis.

Christmas lights 50%off as well as all Christmas stuff. Got 800 lights for next to nothing. Staff was super helpful and the garden area has fresh trees you can care for all year to have your very own in a pot for 2024. Love it???

Mailed me coupons didn’t check the start date?? They don’t work until the 1st of next year and I went to use it and was told sorry they can’t honor it. Spent 4$ I didn’t want to spend on a spare key made I had a free coupon for not a good experience.

One of the best hardware stores I have visited. They have such an amazing selection of plants and yard decor. Things you won't find anywhere else. I love this place, although my wallet don't lol... The employees I have interacted with have always been so kind and helpful. This is my go to store for not only my yard needs but also for the tools I am always wanting to add to my collection. Thank you for being such a great company.
