You could either have two experiences at this location: one where the process of renting a car is simply, quickly, and the customer service is friendly, but unfortunately, the more likely experience is that the wait in line is ridiculously long, the process to rent a vehicle is long (due to glitches in te system or the rental prices changed) and the customer service is less than desirable. My advice is to go the Enterprise that is katty-corner, located on 19 as well.

I would give them 0 stars if I could! The old lady in there was INCREDIBLY rude! We reserved a car on-line for 12 noon on Sunday. We arrived at 12:08 along with 2 other customers to see 2 cars pulling out of the parking lot. (Employees) Call Budget and they say the location closes at noon. The customer service man also was NOT helpful! Then why was I able to reserve a car for that time??? Next day we walked back up there (we came in by boat, walked a mile) and spoke to the old lady. She said she saw us all waiting when she pulled out the previous day, but she “closed at noon!”. I wasn’t happy and stayed civil but she said, “I don’t think I want to rent a car to you!” And slid my card back to me. What????? My husband ended up going in and talking to the gentleman and we got a car. He was nice.
Long story short -AVOID THESE GUYS and go to Enterprise down the street. They even came and picked me up….

I am a frequent client of this car rental agency. I made a reservation a week in advance for a gas powered SUV, went to pick up the vehicle; I was told that they didn't have the SUV. They didn't have any gas cars on the lot. The rental agent stated the electric cars they did have were not fully charged and she couldn't guarantee there was enough charge to get me to my destination that day. Very disappointed, l as I really like the people who work there; but I need them to be dependable, so I won't be back.

We rent a full-size SUV twice a year for vacations, and this is the only place we take our business. Their prices and service are superior to any in Pasco. If you need to rent a car, this is THE best place to go hands down!!!

Be careful choosing this rental car agency, they don't tell you that they have to do a credit check and they don't give you full price of what you'll be paying until afterwards and when you go to put more money in your bank for the full amount and come back, that credit check they did, flags you, and you no longer pass the credit check. There's a 200$ refundable charge put on you'll get back once the rental is returned but that's said after. You leave for 5 minutes and come back and you no longer pass the credit check. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I made a car reservation 2 weeks in advance. When I showed up I was told they have NO vehicles available. None.
I was offered no solution. When I asked if she can check nearby Avis locations, I was told they ALL have a shortage. She said she understands my stress because she has to tell 14 more people the same thing she's telling me!!! How can Avis overbook so badly?!
After not getting any help from the woman at the counter, I called corporate and they got me in touch with a location 20 minutes away that luckily had something available. (Why did the woman at the counter not do this for me?) What a hassle.

This is a store that is part of the Avis franchise, and the owner of the store local and helps put money back into the community. Instead of helping the big-time corporations. I met the owner for my first visit to this store. I had an emergency with needing a rental like ASAP. Due to my vehicle having mechanical issues. I was able to book and pick my rental up in 15 minute time frame. He was very welcoming and polite.
He was also very informative and helpful. They had an array of vehicles to choose from. there cars are new and extremely clean and easy to drive. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied and had all the questions we may have answered. They even let me extend my rental for extra days because my vehicle took longer than expected to fix. I had a wonderful experience and I would recommend this store to anyone hands down. This is my new go-to rental company for any issues I may have in my future endeavors.

Horrible customer service. Tell you one thing online line that you can use a debit card. Call to confirm that you can use debit only to show up to pick up car and to be told that no you can't use a debit

Originally was suppose to get a convertible at airport but didn’t have any so had to settle with a Malibu (corporate company) next morning went to this location and Eduardo was able to make things right (independent location)
