Horrible place to rent a car. Book online they don’t see it. Get here and after 29 minutes I get nowhere. Dude looks at my silly. I literally booked another reservation while standing at counter after them spending an hour of my day. Never again.

Bad service, they don’t check the car before let the customer rent the car, headlights not work, we return and told them, and they give us another car just get return from other customers, they don’t check up the car to see what going on, just say the car is good, don’t recommend this place

Horrible customer service and when I called and booked the reservation through budgets corporate number I was assured that everything was all set and I made them aware on the phone that I was paying with a debit card for a one day rental and in bankruptcy so that’s the only payment option I had and was told it would be okay with a security deposit of $200. Not only did they reject the car but gave me no other options to try. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AVIS OR BUDGET AGAIN, save yourself a headache and pay a little more at enterprise for a far greater experience.

Cathy was awesome ! Super sweet lady. She was there when we picked up the vehicle and again when we dropped it off. They were pretty busy both times, yet she was very efficient and helpful. Hope she is there next time we rent from budget !

I was satisfied with the car. I was not satisfied with the customer service.Customer service is not up to par. Usually at other locations they do a return inspection when I return the car.I like Budget car rental but will not be renting from this location.

Just because you reserved a car doesn't mean it'll be a car available. The lady upgraded me like she was doing me a favor. They didn't have the car that I reserved. Your personal car will get towed if it's there after 530pm

Weekend return policy needs work, especially when they were late giving me my rental, waited 45mins then tells me I have ro return early bc they close early on Sundays, charged me for a extra day plus late fees. Not good business practice.

My mother reserved a car at a community location in New Port Richey. Was told to go to Tampa because they don't have the car that she requested. Was told to go to Tampa international to pick it up. Drove to airport and was told by Ron the manager (wearing his Dora the explorer backpack) that they did not have the car and there's nothing he could do. They could not cancel the reservation either and instructed her to call customer service for refund with a shrug and flippant attitude. Do not recommend!!!! Save your money and go to Sixt.

Rented a suv from Clearwater airport for my parents to get home for prepaid online for 62.99. They returned to this location as they have many times before and they wanted to charge them when they haven't before. They wanted to charge $300.00 for dropping it this time. After some back and forth my Mom agreed to a charge that was around $140.00 to settle the matter as they didn't feel up to going to airport by this time. Today I went on my credit card website and find that they charged 393.53 to their card in addition to the 62.99 that was prepaid! Customer service has been no help. Go to Enterprise! I guess they are under the model of screwing customers hard enough you don't need return business.

They don't do pick-ups, even though the site says they do. Had to get an uber to get there, then found out they didn't have the car listed available, oh and they don't accept chime. Rude guy at the counter, go to enterprise and save your time.

Rented this online. I tried to speak with a person. Unfortunately that couldn't happen. It was for a Saturday rental. I wanted it for only 1 day. It automatically clicked on 1 day. But when I got to the check out it said return on Monday. I redid it and again it was the same. I completed it. When I picked it up I was informed that no changes could be done. Now, I am told because I have it for 2 days I had to pay for 2 days insurance. Also, I had to sign the vehicle inspection report that listed the dents and gas without seeing it. When I asked he said that he checked it and it was right. I went out and the gas line was not correct and he said "oh" and corrected the error. When I returned it to a different location I asked why couldn't I return this in 1 day? The answer was that it was a package deal. This was not a good experience.

we rented a van and we made sure it was full they r charging us 35 plus what ever it cost becuz we didn't over fill it will b calling corporate cuz that's wrong it it does not say that we have to overfill it. or put it wherever the previous customer had a contract says that it Has that to be full when we return it. smh and they r very rude if I could put no stars I would

Came from NY place was ok till I brought car in day early. The older bald man with mustache reminds me to get gas or they charge 10.00 a gallon I say o thanks i get gas come back drop it off and he still trys to hit me with a 15.00 fuel fee lmao budget took care of it and removed the fee Nice try!!

This particular rental establishment gave me back confidence in dealing with a car rental company. The whole process was seamless and uncomplicated. Customer service was superb. They make you feel like you are doing business with an old friend. The car was clean and comfortable . I would highly recommend using them when looking for a rental

Okay, so the staff at the New Port Richey site truly do anything in their power to provide a great experience. The Budget cars are hit and miss in terms of cleanliness and functionality. I had to return 3 cars during the first 3 days of my 10 day rental due to issues with the vehicles. My 4th SUV pulled to the left and I was tired of returning to Tampa International to switch cars. So, the effort was there but the PRIDE in Quality Vehicles fell short for me.
