Long Leaf Learning Center is the BEST!! The staff & teachers are absolutely wonderful and it has been so amazing to watch our daughter grow thanks to their help.

Both of our daughters have thrived at LLC. Over the years other programs have opened, and on occasion tempted us to make a switch because they are new and shiny, but I'm so glad we've stayed at Longleaf - they have a special blend of tradition and warmth. The teachers are all truly amazing - we have been blown away year after year by all of the staff, but especially our classroom teachers. Their hearts are fully in it, and they've cultivated a family like feel for our little ones. Our girls have developed and grown so much at this school. Our older daughter's transition to kindergarten was seamless - their K-readiness is exceptional!

My daughter has loved Longleaf Learning Center since day 1! I love the consistency of teachers and the fact that everyone there knows our family. They also offer an abundance of extra curricular activities!

Longleaf Learning Center has not just been our children’s school, it has become an extension of our family. Our boys’ intelligence and love of learning has not only been nurtured, but also their self-confidence, love of others and connection to their community. We can’t thank the incredible team at Longleaf Learning Center enough for everything they do each and every day.

We have been apart of the LLC family for over a year now and have been happy. Our kids are thriving and learning more than we expected. Mrs Jackie communicates very well and keeps the parents very informed about their children along with fun activities going on in the school. All the teachers we have had are amazing and are truly educating the children. We are proud to apart of such a great school and love watching our grow and learning from such a caring group.

Our family has had such an amazing experience here. Both of our kids started at this preschool when they were two, and it’s been incredible watching them grow, learn, and become so confident. The teachers and director are simply wonderful, kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they really love and care for the kids.
Something that really stands out to us is how supportive and understanding the staff is. Our children had speech delays when they first started, and the teachers were nothing but encouraging. They treated our kids with the same warmth and attention as everyone else, and we never once felt left out or ignored. Thanks to their positive environment and patience, our kids are now chatting away and thriving socially and academically!
The preschool has such a special, homey feel, definitely not the big, corporate atmosphere you find elsewhere. It’s small enough that everyone knows each other, and it feels like one big family. The classrooms are happy, the activities are creative, and the communication with parents is always excellent.
Tucked away in the Longleaf/Starkey community, this place is a true hidden gem. We’re so thankful to have found a preschool that not only teaches our children but truly loves and nurtures them. We couldn’t recommend it more!
If you’re wanting to find that perfect first school for your child, I highly recommend come seeing it for yourself.

My oldest child is on his 4th year at the preschool (currently in VPK) and my second child is on his second year (2s class). The teachers treat my kids like their own and are very quick with communication if issues arise. They have taught my kids more than I could ever teach them myself! I'm super grateful for this school!

We are all beyond in love with LLC. From the moment I drop my son off in the morning he is welcomed with love and positivity and support. His teachers are wonderful; caring, attentive and kind. Jackie, the director, and all of the support staff have answers to every single question and are so easily accessible. My son eats, naps, plays, is learning so much an making so many friends. I love the intimiate setting and history that the school has. I can't say enough good things about LLC!!

I had such high hopes for this school but we were asked to leave due to them not being able to work with my son’s speech delay and adhd. This is a perfect school for children that aren’t facing any sort of challenges or disabilities.

I am leaving this review after seeing the below 2 reviews which are so inaccurate. My boys have been at Longleaf Learning Center for almost 3 years and it was by FAR the best decision I made for them. My oldest is graduating their VPK program and is so loved by his teachers and the entire staff. My 3 year old is THRIVING and I can not say more about the compassionate loving teachers, Miss Denia, Miss Carrie, Miss Rachel, Miss Phoenix, I have to say I could not be more impressed with the growth and development of my 3 year old. I came from a home daycare environment when the boys started and I wish I would have started them both at LLC from the beginning. As with any school, you aren't going to always love everything, there will be learning curves and people's personalities you will learn. Esme, at the front desk is a gem, she is a very sweet loving young lady who both of my boys love. The director, Miss Jackie, while she can be firm, is so loving, kind and really cares about the development of all of the children. Development is about more than academics, this school teaches KINDESS, EMPATHY, COMPASSION for other humans and nature. You will not get that everywhere. I would choose Longleaf over again and again and again. Don't listen to the disgruntled people in the reviews below. As a devoted parent to LLC, take my word, you will not be disappointed here.

That place is horrible, my husband went for some question to enroll our daughter. But the rudest woman on the front desk just was busy with her phone and she did not answer anything to my husband, he asked to her about programs but she did not answer anything. Do not go that learning center, they are so rude!

The worst school don’t send your kids there!! Ms Shannon was by far the worst teacher I’ve ever seen. My kids been in daycare her whole life never a problem, goes there try’s to convince me there’s something wrong with her. She actually told me thete personalities didn’t match up well. The girl at front office horribly rude and aurora is down right wrong when working with kids. I wish I could give them no stars !!!

I went there when I was little I graduated in 2017 it was amazing I recommend your kid going there it is wonderful great place to play and I hid something with my friends there in the blue park who ever finds it I hope they get to re hide the picture I love all the staff there 10/10 amazing place to learn and make friends! Thank you to the staff who took care of me when i was there in 2017
