I dropped off my mx6 and pool filter on a Friday two weeks ago with Mitten the franchise owner. He told me to come back on Monday. I returned Monday and he told me they gave him the wrong filter and my mk6 was at his house. He said he would work on it and deliver it to me as he was giving up the franchise. Two weeks later no mx6 and I had to buy my filter in Brooksville.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED CALLED FOR A PRICE ON A POOL PUMP 1 1/2 HORSEPOWER THEY SAID IT WOULD BE $1200 DOLLARS. DID SOME OTHER CALLS GOT PUMP FOR $300 THEY WE'RE TRYING TO RIP ME OFF. SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEWARE OF THIS STORE.

We purchased our pool motor from Pinch a Penny at 11450 Ridge Road just under a year ago. The motor died and is under warranty. This store has been been giving us the run around for 3 weeks. Lied to us twice and said they were on their way to install our new motor, never showed up. We called and were told the tech wrote the wrong address down twice. Still no motor. We went to the other store on Ridge and they are super in helping us. Do not go to the one on 11450, the guys behind the counter tell you that it isn’t their fault but nobody helps you.

I was a little nervous about replacing my old pool lights the the SPA Electric brand , but at this point I did not have a choice other than to pay for the expensive Hayward . The owner of this location Minten was so helpful in making my decisión. He did not push to but any expensive lights. I was very please when he talk to me about the brand SPA Electric and there 3year warranty . The New lights exceeded all expectations. Not only did they fit perfectly, but they Can also be program to your Hayward colors. 3yr waranty better than the originals. The brightness is fantastic, the colors are vivid, and the overall quality feels top-tier.
The technician completed the installation and program within 30min a quick breeze – it was practically plug-and-play. I especially appreciate how energy-efficient these LEDs are. it super easy to change colors from my Hayward switch
They’ve totally refreshed the look of my pool at night. If you’re on the fence about replacing your lights to SPA Electric don’t hesitate. These are a great and totally worth it! A big shout out to the owner Minten for providing me Great quality service at a reasonable price . Thank you for alllowing me to trust in this business location .

Go somewhere else. I have been coming to this store for years. Ever since it had new owners the place has no stock, the shelf are empty, the employees have to fill each chlorine jug you bring in by hand! Don't waste the trip of coming here, there not going to have what you need and you will have to go to another location for your needs.

Very misleading they never have anything in stock. Went back twice for the same product and still out of stock! I try to support local business but it's hard when they keep letting me down. I guess I'll go to the real Pinch a penny location in Port Richey. They have plenty of chlorine tablets in stock. I'm done with this location.

Absolutely horrible company, they literally destroyed our pool at the end of 2023 by putting chemicals in the pool that destroyed the liner, charged us for cleaning and and maintenance on our pool and since we had to spend over 6k to get a new liner and then installed our pool has been GREEN since November of 23! All we ever got was the run around and lied to at every turn. Telling us they were here and we check cameras and they weren't. Even backed over our mailbox and didn't even tell us or even offer to repair it, just drove off and denied it until we showed them the video. Again please avoid this company, we are out thousands of dollars and still have a pool that is as useless as this company.

Busy work schedule has me waiting outside. 9 am and not open. Ok try again, day 2 and 9am. Not open. Unreliable and unprofessional. Should of been convenient on my way to work. Nope.
