FED UP WITH FEDEX.
FedEx, what a horrific company. They couldn’t deliver a package around the block in a month. Even if they could, it wouldn’t matter. You could expect it your much awaited package to be delivered to the wrong location and most likely damaged. But don’t worry about the damage, you’ll never get that package anyhow. Seriously. FedEx will not even try to find it without the seller of the item casting them 15 x. Even then, they will most likely acknowledge (like in my past 3 cases), that they delivered it to the wrong address because the non-English speaking driver (barely) had decided to change the address with a pen on the box because he was familiar with my address, and now (for the 3rd time) can’t find the location he allegedly delivered it to. Personally, that sounds fishy anlt but I’m not throwing around that accusation. I’d rather it just be lost due pure ignorance than that.
Anyhow, every experience with FedEx of late is a terrible one. I cringe each time I hear they are the delivery company. Seriously, I call companies and ask “ Do you use FedEx?” If they do, I’ll try to order elsewhere. It’s honestly that bad. During my last delivery experience, they lost a cordless ratchet worth near $200. Screwed up part, they even sent photos of the wrong delivery point. It was a photo of a random front door with my package in front of it. No house photo nor anyway to tell where it was. Worse yet, when I did get a customer service rep on the phone, “Peggy” told me (in his very thick Indian accent) to “go find it”! It’s most likely not even in my town! I have no clue where it is because they have no clue……. Because their driver, himself claimed he can’t recall where he delivered it! He claimed he left it at my house, which we all quickly agreed due to their own photographic evidence, could not be. The house he allegedly delivered to was clearly older and wood frame. My home is concrete block and much newer.Theres no wood frame homes within miles and not one single street in the entire county with the same name as mine! This all happened because, for some unknown reason (for the 3rd time in as many months), the FedEx delivery driver had decided to scratch out my address and scribbled in another on my package. FedEx even sent a photo, but the driver claims to have no idea what he wrote, nor do they and I can’t decipher his chicken scratch either!
Move ahead two weeks, FedEx didn’t do anything. No reimbursement or nothing. They admitted what happened and admitted they caused the issue through their negligence. Their promise, to do better, followed by the suggestion “Find your package quickly or someone may steal it!” SERIOUSLY!?!?!?
Their customer service online is now all AI based and a hot dumpster fire. True trash. Their customer service by phone is overseas. They barely spoke English! and couldn’t care less. Their first suggestion was “Just wait”. Wait for what?!? You delivered my $200 ratchet to someone else and sent me photos. Then told me you nor your own driver know where. Truly and amazingly horrible. They deserve zero stars.
Best part of all of this..,.,they’ve now lost another shipment of nearly $200 in 18v lithium batteries by Makita. The selling agent is already sending replacements by USPS. They too are done using FedEx. Thank God! Truly, just Thank God that they are also done with FedEx…..doubly thanking God. Did I mention I’m thrilled and “Thank God”? Steer clear if you can. FedEx has deteriorated to the point that I would rather get deliveries via carrier pigeon. Truly, the worst. I couldn’t say enough negative things about their website, phone service, delivery service……just trash. Total, trash.
