Cute but pricey. It’s not the kind of place to browse and find something. It’s more like the kind of store where you have a specific project in mind and go here to find special pieces.

A wonderful place! But this is more likely not an antique shop, but a souvenir shop. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice nice people!

An interesting mermaid/nautical/knickknack/wall hanging/furniture collection moves you through the shop, but a furniture painting class with paint and brush assortments available should be the headline here.Inquire within.

I love coming to this cool shop to look through all their unique treasures. Lots of color and new things all the time, from trinkets to beautiful furniture pieces and even t-shirts. It always smells really nice too.

My husband and I actually made a u-turn after passing this eclectic-looking shop on our way to the beach in New Symrna Beach, FL. This small business is a stand-alone sparkly nugget on busy U.S. 1 (Dixie Freeway). Colorful, hand painted sculptures and treasures greet you even before you set foot in the store. Once inside, there are so many treasures in every nook and cranny - with a particular focus on nautical themed (especially mermaids - hence the name - "The Vintage Mermaid") furnishings and gifts. The store also smells like a spa and a new age store had a baby - it's a nice smell! They seem to specialize in up-cycling wooden furniture, turning pieces into one-of-a-kind "must have" item. The store even has a special paint section and staff provide free advice on how to do certain techniques on furniture that customers may want to attempt at home. We'll definitely be back to check out what new pieces will turn up!
