Items are expired if not careful and everything is very expensive for such low quality. Publix is fresher and cheaper then the prices at Hitchcock

Worst customer service ever. The way the employees treat you is very denigrating. Rude people. I'm waiting anxiously for Publix. Stay away from this supermarket. They need to learn how to deal with educated people.

Some sorry employees. Cashier completely ignored me, while I was standing at the register trying to pay for my lunch. I had to talk my self out of just walking off an leaving my food there. Last time I return there for anything.

Terrible experience at customer service. They need to be professionals in dealing with customers, it seems they are trained to fail. The best thing anyone can do is to wait for Publix.

Pharmacy is great, meat department is also good, produce is lacking and if they can get someone to work at the deli it is also very good food, if you don't wait so long while the employees are chit chatting.

Mostly great experiences, but... Mercy on those who try to shop in a timely manner when the busses of migrant workers arrive. It took 73 minutes minutes to get to the cashier after entering the checkout lane, due entirely to having too few lanes open after 100 people arrived in two repurposed school busses and proceeded to each buy a bottle of Gatorade and ONE additional item, then paying exclusively with cash one person at a time. The coordination of bus arrivals clearly implies a relatively regular occurrence, so management shouldn't keep only two cashiers open when there are over 20 individual customers in each lane. Any rational person would realize that two 50-person lines streaming from the busses would likely result in the need for additional checkout lanes, but apparently not this store manager (or whatever supervisor eventually asked for additional lanes to open, 45 minutes after I started waiting in one of the only two open lanes).
Previous experience has been quite positive, but at this point I'm sorely tempted to take all future business elsewhere. This experience makes it clear that management only values individual purchases rather than the customer. Now that a better shopping "experience" isn't part of Hitchcock's, there really isn't any reason to continue shopping here. Both Publix and Walmart have far better prices.

It's small, and lightly stocked, but okay for the light grocery shopping. They've opened a salad bar and extended the deli, which is nice.
