Amazing customer service! Our vehicle wouldn't start and they got us in that day to start diagnosing the issue. Turned out to be a bad cell in a new battery and didn't even charge us for the time spent to review the issue. Great crew over there and would highly recommend!

Wife's 2018 car was popping an engine light and the washer pump died. I took it to here and was told the engine light went out and there was nothing they could do, and the washer pump was dead (I already knew that). I was quoted a whopping $750 to replace the washer pump ($130 for the part). Dude even said he had to loosen motor mounts to do it (lol). I was also quoted an additional $2500 worth of work my car "needed" (purely based on mileage they said. Never asked if I had already done anything...including oil changes etc. IE, my car didn't need it.) Luckily I am half handy, and one $40 part and 1 hr of my day later it's fixed (no motor mounts were harmed ...or even touched..a 10 min youtube vid said exactly how to do it. Hardest part was disconnecting the electrical source). Beware folks.

Was visiting from Atlanta and needed air baffle/engine under cover secured. Service was done in a few hours at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Prices are crazy because of mark up on parts. Not only them but also surrounding auto shops. %60 markup from what I figured but may be different on your invoice. Call or lookup parts on line then look at what they charge. Ridiculous. Find another shop or try to find reasonable shop. Check the estimate. This shop would charge you $1K for changing a valve stem. I stopped going there. If they don't gouge you on parts then they can't survive.

My mother's car needed to have a new power steering hose put in. They were going to charge her $1,100 to replace this hose. We took her car somewhere else and they charged her only $40 to replace the hose. Never again will we give them our business.

I have used Niceville Auto numerous times for various needs, and they are always professional and timely. I am not much of a mechanic, so I really appreciate an honest assessment when my vehicle needs repairs of any sort. Steve always take the time to provide a detailed analysis, never pushes things we don’t need, and the work is always well done. Very highly recommend Niceville Auto!

Steve and the techs at Niceville Auto checked my classic '96 Chevy Pickup over trying to find a noise we were concerned about. Although they were unable to duplicate the noise, they gave me rides to and from the shop ( since it is our only vehicle ) and gave the truck a thorough inspection with no charge! That is unheard of! Thank you!Service: Vehicle Inspection

About a month ago, I took my truck here to have a preventative coolant flush done. I never had any issues with leaks or overheating, this service was strictly preventive maintenance. Before bringing in my truck, I had a new thermostat installed as a preventative measure. Niceville Automotive "attempted" to do a coolant flush on my truck and claimed they could not perform the service due to the thermostat not opening. They also informed me that they pressurized the system so much, that they blew the coolant reservoir cap off my truck! I know my thermostat was functioning properly because my truck would never overheat and the radiator functioned as it's supposed to. They did not charge me for this attempt and sent me on my way. About a week later, I brought my truck to another shop where they successfully performed the coolant flush for me. They also brought me out to show me a new coolant leak on my truck... right under the intake manifold gasket. Piecing everything together, it's pretty clear what occurred that day at Niceville Auto Service, 1) they did not give my truck adequate time to come up to operating temperature before attempting the coolant flush or 2) the person operating the machine had no idea what they were doing. Either way, they pressurized my system so much it blew my intake manifold gasket! Then, knowing they messed up, they sent me on my way saying they could not perform the flush and feeding me a BS story to absolve themselves of liability for the damage they caused to my truck, had they actually performed the flush. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. There is no integrity here. Being not far from the gates of one of the largest military installations in the country, I will be sure to tell my colleagues to avoid this place at all costs. What a dishonest business.

Very kind and good service. Really good people and seemed concerned about my safety, but their prices are just too high. They take pictures of everything they find wrong with your car so you know they aren't making things up.I was quoted 4,200 dollars worth of various minor and major repairs. Charged 236 just for the check engine diagnosis. Spark plug replacement was quoted 200 dollars with 124 dollars for labor. The thermostat housing replacement with coolant was quoted 1,146. I called another shop and they said they would replace the housing and coolant for less than 600 dollars.Great people and I would return if they weren't so expensive.Service: Auto maintenance
