I do not recommend this business. After being a customer for over four years, we twice had our pool turn green in the last three months. It took multiple calls to fix the issues. After talking to one of their tech's, it appears they were skimping on chemicals. After cancelling and twice asking for at least a month's refund, I didn't even get a call back. Find another pool company.Service: Water treatment

Take your business elsewhere. After three years of NW Pools this is what our pool looked like. Read the other recent reviews for all the reasons you should not use them--they 100% match all of my experiences with Joel and his team.Services: Filter cleaning

Needed help on our pool. 4th of July weekend. They gave us a time frame. They were on time, helped get the balance back in our pool. Would recommend calling. They were the only ones who answered with a quick and timely response.

Do not use this company. Not reliable, responsive, or customer oriented. When we purchased our home we lived in another state but felt assured our pool would be taken care of if we had a pool company. Wrong! Sometime in May it was discovered the pump wasn't working correctly and they did not notify the cleaners, nor did they contact me about the issue. They kept putting chemicals in but without a pump it created a milky water. Completely unusable. Could not get anyone to answer and when we did they kept giving us lies when it would be fixed. The cleaners admitted their was nothing they could do until the pump was fixed. After 3 weeks of living in the house we had enough and cancelled our service with them and they are STILL charging us. The new company fixed our pool and said it was the worst they ever seen.

We pay for weekly service.. they haven’t shown up in 2 weeks. They did this a month ago as well. It’s becoming regular to charge for service that was not provided. Our pool is dirty & turning green. We pay for their ‘top’ service as well. Not worth it.

I have used Northwest for 7 years now and have seen their service rapidly decline. Since the ownership change, we have had nothing but poor service from this new team. The office number is not answered most of the time and if you do get someone answer they cannot help or tell you they will have management contact you and no call is ever made. Just in the last month the have refused to complete the service that I pay for which is the full cleaning service. I just had the technician come to the house only to tell me that he would only be adding chemicals to the pool and did not have the proper equipment to actually clean the pool. I asked him to call the manager while he was here. He got ahold of Maliki who told him he did not have time to talk to me. If you are new to the Niceville area or have used Northwest for many years, I would consider changing companies. Customer service is simply nonexistent and the only phone calls management are able to make are ones to sell you repairs or new equipment. Bottom line find someone else to maintain your pool if you actually want to use it.Services: Wall brushing

Requested a quote for daily/weekly commercial pool service. They were able to dispatch the tech supervisor out the next day. Received a prompt and quick response. They have been highly recommended by local residents and looking forward to doing business with them.

I called this company because I was having an issue with my salt pool. The next day the tech showed up at the scheduled time! What a miracle! I called 2 other companies that either never showed or showed many days later. Anyway, they found the issue with the salt board, corrected on site and showed me how to fix on my own in the future. Definitely would recommend in the future.Services: Filter cleaning

We have had this company service our pool for over 10 years with good results for the most part. However, this last week they were a no show. After MANY calls to their office and receiving promises that they would be in touch, NO ONE has been to my address to service the pool and it is now green. We PREPAY monthly through BOA.VERY POOR SERVICE, POOR COMMUNICATION. UNPROFESSIONAL. I would have given them zero stars if it was offered.

We had Northwest Pool & Spa come out to help with some staining of our pool. We were charged $160 for them to add stain remover which has not worked. Subsequently speaking to other pool companies they recommend testing various chemicals using a testing kit to see which works best - it would have been great if Northwest Pool & Spa had done similar before going with one chemical batch with no result. We will not be using their services for cleaning again.

My first issue with this company is they take a portion of your money up front and once they have your card on file they automatically charge you the rest even though they do not complete the job. We were having a sand filter installed and our pool cleaned and balanced. They charged us 1/3 up front and the money was taken from our account on June 23rd. June 24th they finally installed our sand filter and I was told by the technician installing that someone else would be coming by to do the pool cleaning and chemical balance. They charged the remainder of our account on June 28th without completing the job. No one has shown up thus far and today is July 22nd. I have repeatedly contacted the answering service and she emails the technician who claims that the other technician claims they already did the pool cleaning and chemical balance (without me knowing even though I am an online student that just moved into our home so I am doing a lot around the house, along with 3 boys at home and a very protective dog). They claim to have a picture of the "cleaned" pool - which they cannot find. I called again today to inquire about my pool cleaning and chemical balancing or to have my money refunded for the service they did not provide. The answering service again said that she would email the technician, but that is all that she can really do is send messages and wait for their response. It really stinks to move to a new area and have unprofessional service. I should have listened to the original owner and got my services through Pinch a Penny.

When I first started using Northwest they were a good company. Responsive and competent. They had the store in the Parkway East plaza that you could go to and ask questions and get advice. At some point they closed the store and went to what is essentially an answering service when you call their number. The woman doesn't know anything about your service or pools in general and only takes your name to set up appointments. I had a major issue with my pool and demanded to speak to a manager and was told I could only set up a service appointment. I called multiple times over a few days and got the same response. They don't seem to care about satisfying their customers. After canceling my service I said I wanted to talk to someone from billing to discuss my account. Same response, someone would contact me. They never did. This company is quickly on its way to going out of business.
