Always a great time. The service was Excellent, Wendi was our bartender and server, she was fun as well as very knowledgeable about the menu. The manager also came by to greet us and was very friendly and welcoming . Will definitely continue to go to this location , We love it there.??????Parking: Plenty of parking, no charge for valet

My family and I had a disappointing experience at the Benihana restaurant in Miami Beach. Despite arriving promptly for our reservation, we waited over an hour for our order to be taken and the chef to arrive. Despite informing the waiter about my child’s shrimp allergy, it was disregarded, resulting in a dangerous oversight. Additionally, we were misinformed about menu items, including the inclusion of yum yum sauce. The electronic payment system was down, adding further inconvenience. Despite expressing our concerns to the manager, promises for resolution were not fulfilled. Overall, a disappointing experience that fell short of our expectations for a special celebration.

Absolutely the worst Benihana I have ever been to. I have been to Benihanas all over the US and they are always great. Yes it always takes a little longer because of the show, which is understandable. But one hour to get water is not okay. First, when we went in and told them our name they never wrote our name on the list. So when we went to the podium to ask how much longer they said they couldn’t find our name on the list, but remembered us. However, they did not do anything to amend the situation. Thank goodness we reserved a table through open table just in case. Still had to wait an hour to be seated. Once we were seated we were not greeted and not given water for over 45 minutes. We talked to the staff and they said they would come. We eventually decided to order the food at the bar. The hostess came to the bar and had us sit at a different table and said it would be faster. We suggested that we should just order to go, but they promised they would have the food out quick. Here we are 30 minutes later and the chef comes out and our order is completely wrong. This is such a horrible experience and really ruined the last night of our trip. Could not be more disappointed. The manager did not apologize and was extremely rude. Many other people in the restaurant had the same issue and also complained to the manager. He was non apologetic and did not do anything to amend the situation for anyone. Benihana’s as a corporation should really look into the management of this location.

Delicious but service too slow and portion too generous.We each ordered a cocktail while waiting for our meal.Each dish is accompanied by onion soup and a salad to wait.The dishes are cooked on the board in front of you but you must wait for a chef to be available and the time may vary. In our case, we waited 45 minutes. It was too long…The food is very good, tasty and spicy but be careful, I advise you not to take the “fried rice” option because the portions are too large to enjoy your dish. We wasted $7 because we unfortunately couldn't finish it.Good experience despite the price: $108 (excluding tip) for a cocktail, a beer and two dishes with a portion of rice that 2 of us shared.

They don’t even deserve one star. Don’t waste your time by coming here. Made a reservation for 8:45pm. Host stated there would be a wait, no problem. We watched people walk in after us with later reservations AND walk ins get sat before us. When we finally sat at 9:15pm (we arrived at 8:36pm) the host says “sit anywhere you’d like” as there are seven tables open and we just waited for a half hour??? Once we sat we waited while MULTIPLE servers walked past us, one server who was working on the patio was just standing outside hitting a vape. We ended up leaving after waiting another half hour and ordering food to go because we couldn’t believe it. We were never greeted by a server or even given some water. When we finally told someone about how we’ve been waiting forever and never had a server she didn’t even care, and dismissed us by telling us where we could order to go. We didn’t even wanna spend money here because of how horrible our experience was but we’re here on vacation and we Ubered here and nothing was near by. Worst experience ever literally wasted my time and ruined my birthday dinner. Will make sure I advise everybody not to go here. It’s a joke please hire a manager that actually knows how to run a restaurant and a staff that actually has a brain.

Booked for 7:30pm.It took over an hour from the time I entered the restaurant with an empty stomach until the course started.You won't be able to eat what you want right away, and you'll have to adjust your pace with other customers, so it's good to go in the same group, but I think it's bad if you're spread out.

Worst service, waited over an hour to be seated WITH a reservation, still had to wait almost another hour just for a chef, and the staff is extremely rude. Go to a different location and don’t waste your time at this one.

Seated at Reserved time. Chef came to our table 1 hour later. Waited way too long for the food. They were short staffed so we waited too long for everything including paying for the check. Food was ok.

Have never eaten here, but had a fraudulent charge from this restaurant on my card. Tried calling them and have been transferred four different times to a “manager”. But no one who picks up the phone is a manager or able to help.

I’ve been to Benihana multiple times. This is my go too place, but this last visit was nothing short of amazing. The manager Natalie ended up being our waitress. It was a pretty busy night and I’m on crutches. She sat me near the front door. She took our order and when I tell you the food came out fast, hot, and delicious. There was never a time I had to call her. She was there asking me if I needed anything or how everything was. She made an uncomfortable outting for me very enjoyable. If this was first time visiting it definitely would’ve sealed the deal for future visits from me. Thank you Natalie!!
