I'll tell you why I like this Goodwill. When we moved, I brought furniture, glassware and other items that I mistakenly thought would work in my new home. As such, we made many a run to Goodwill with donations. Apparently other newbies miscalculate and do the same. I've found lovely sets of China, German wineglasses -- if I didn't already have a bunch, I would've bought them -- and other relatively expensive items for little money on their shelves. Goodwill South Florida offers discount days for teachers and students, seniors and military. There are customer appreciation days, discounts on designated holidays and Sunday Specials. Every Sunday, items tagged a certain color are sold for $1.99. And let's not forget the 50% off color of the week. As there's too much to remember, you can pick up their calendar at the front of the store. Become a VIP shopper by registering at GoodwillSWFL.org. And btw, I've found the employees to be helpful and polite.

Found a porcelain clown doll that I've always wanted and because it didn't have a tag they could t sell it to me. That's unfair, seeing how there was a time I purchased a candle holder without a tag and they still gave me a price. This is just wrong.

EXTREMELY RUDE EMOLOYEE, shift supervisor Diane, needs a lesson in customer service and know that her salary is paid by donations and customer shopping, both of which I have donated and spent alot over the years. I'll think twice about going back there to do either again due to her unprofessional behavior. Diane needs a lesson in etiquette and supervision

The prices became super high here, this is a thrift store not the GUCCI store or any other designer store. It used to have better prices before. This is sad.

Another goodwill that has no business operating. They used to have some of the best prices in town, but with the new management change a few months ago, this store went downhill, and rapidly. And we are talking about one that isn’t in a great neighborhood, and needs to be more friendly to the local base they have. The prices are even worse than eBay, $2 dollar cup for $10 and so forth, the staff doesn’t seem to care and are very rude. Last time I was there, I alerted them to broken and badly chipped items, and the reply was, oh it will sell anyways, when any other goodwill would just throw it away. I donated two pitchers that wasn’t in the best condition with little resale value a month ago. I saw both of them on the shelves for $19.99 each. And they have the same stuff for three weeks until the color change in the stamps that makes it half off, or move it to a different store. My aunt, who was a customer for 20 years at that goodwill stopped going and donating there because it’s that bad. The manager treated her poorly thinking she was a reseller the last time she was there that she was in tears. Absolutely terrible that needs to be reported to corporate that store. I know of several other customers that stopped going because of the prices and staff, and none of these people are resellers, just people scraping by weekly. Shame this is my local goodwill when I’m in town. Absolutely disgusting.

This location should be ashamed of itself. To be located in one of the most fixed income and economically disadvantaged communities in Lee County, and to be one of the most expensive. Especially for heavily used, and worn items. I did a price comparison of a few items that were priced outrageously high, and found that they only cost about $2 or exactly that amount brand new. Some of the bags were not only in states of disrepair, but were also fake and priced at a laughable amount. (I thought it was illegal to resell replicas anyway, especially when the price reflects what goodwill obviously saw what it was. ) there are better places to donate to, and better charity organizations to shop at. And before there is a retort of how much they do for their community, Google it.

I like shopping at Goodwill. The only real gripe I have are the prices! They are way to high for used clothing.and mens shirts are outragious!I do like the idea of the tag colors being 50 % off on diff. Days.

Like most people would say. Good will is a nice store to get second hand items. There is a couple of negative issues.Goodwill is turning into a normal TJ Max - Ross - Marshalls.Yes I get it inflation, but when you're a single mom it is hard to have to pay for donated clothes at full price. The shoes are running almost $20 a pair and yesterday some handbags were 49.99$. Might as well go to Wal Mart and pay full price for brand new items.Kind of sad unfortunately ??

On September 24th I was in the changing room. I had just taken my shirt off and of course I didnt have a bra on and the locks on the changing room doors don't work. Some guy walked right on in on me. I was topless. He was very nice about it. I kinda likes that happening
