Add us to the list of bad experiences with Raymond Building Supply. We ordered 2 warranty window replacements and paid $337 for delivery/installation back on 12/8/2022. One window arrived 2/28/23 (almost 3 mo later) and was installed, but the 2nd was cracked so we were told they'd re-order and return in a couple weeks. No prob - we weren't in a hurry. We were happy to use a local company. (We had ordered a closet door from them in the past so knew they were slow and needed reminder calls.) We've since called a minimum of 15 times regarding our window, talking with people who assure us it will be handled and this is unacceptable, leaving VMs, etc. This includes Greg Pemberton, Bonnie Mason, Ron Dietz. It's now Feb 2024 and we still don't have the window or any timeframe for when it will arrive!!!! There is absolutely NO communication or follow-up despite waiting over 14 months and having already paid. I'm all for paying a little more and/or waiting a little longer to use a smaller local company, but these guys simply aren't worth it! I can't think of any circumstance where I would use or recommend Raymond Building Supply again. We have gone back to Home Depot. It seems pretty clear that the leadership is failing this business. Time to make some changes!

I am a General Contractor who buys large quantities of steels and supplys for Raymond Building Supply and I must say Toni Sifuentes of the Fort Myers location has a very nasty attitude. We purchase large items continuously, and every time I have to speak with her or ask a question about anything she has a horrible attitude and very poor customer service. Having to deal with her everyday bad tone and way that she speaks to you like you are no body, it make me want to buy somewhere else.

Well, nothing has changed in 3 years since the last review. Waited 3 weeks for a door. They messed it up. Cost me 3 hours with my handyman. They ordered another door. Have to wait 3 more weeks for it. hopefully this one will be right. Good thing I didn't dispose of my current door!!

Raymond Building Supply installed the windows in our new home (Lot 390) in IslandWalk (Divosta), so unfortunately we have no choice but to work with them on warranty issues. Their service is horrible. We contacted them on 1/27 for a leaking window issue. On 1/30, they came out and looked at the window. They did NOT do a water hose test at all to determine the source of the leak. They did bang on the exterior of the window for approximately an hour. They left without doing a water hose test to see if the banging helped. So no water hose test done at all on this visit. On 3/19, water leaking again. This time the field manager comes out. No water hose test done again. Field manager could not answer any basic questions at all. He could not tell me what was wrong with the window. He could not tell me what next steps were. He could not give me a timeframe, nothing. He didn't seem to care one bit. I can't believe this individual is a manager. I didn't learn that he was the field manager until a couple of weeks later when a 3rd technician was sent out. On 3/20, I complained to the builder. A 3rd technician was sent out a couple of weeks later. This time my husband and I went outside with the water hose and sprayed on our own. The technician saw where the water was coming in and said we needed a new glass and new sash. This is two months after we originally reported the issue. It's not acceptable that a homeowner is doing a water hose test. That's your job. Not ours. Window and sash ordered. On 5/9, we are supposed to get the repair parts installed. On 5/9, the installer shows up and tells us that no one put the window or sash on his truck. Seriously? What kind of company sends an installer out without the parts? We call the office and we are told people have been fired, they are short-staffed, the parts haven't been taken off the truck yet, and yada, yada, yada. I'm sorry, but that is the company's problem. Not mine. We're now in the midst of hurricane season with a leaking window. If you're short-handed, you pick up the slack and prioritize. People with water intrusion in a brand new home get priority over a new build that isn't being lived in yet. Plain and simple. We aren't stupid. You're putting us at the bottom of the list because you're not making $$ from us. On 5/28, we have the install scheduled again. And today, they show up and tell us the window is damaged. And then, they have the nerve to blame the manufacturer PGT for our frustration? Really? Did PGT come out to our home on 1/27 and neglect to do a water hose test before and after repair? No they did not. That was Raymond Building Supply. Did PGT come out to our home on 3/19 and do absolutely nothing. Literally nothing. No they did not. That was Raymond Building Supply. Did PGT not load the parts on truck on 5/9? Nope, that was Raymond Building Supply too. Did PGT give me a lame excuse on 5/9 about parts not being offloaded from a truck? Nope that was Raymond Building Supply. Did PGT delay the installation for 19 days because of parts not being offloaded from a truck? Nope, RBS again. Did PGT not call me back on 5/28 when I left a disgruntled message for a manager? Nope, RBPS. So yeah, maybe the manufacturer did send a damaged window, but the failure here is clearly with Raymond Building Supply. Divosta has been an awesome company to work with, but they really missed the mark with having this company represent them in any way, shape or form. There is no excuse for having 3 technicians come out (including a field manager) to diagnose a water leak. And none of the 3 technicians do a water hose test. No excuse. And to top it all off, the technician that they sent out today actually gave me a business card for his own door / window company. Seriously? You have techs working for you who are handing out business cards to another company. How much worse could a company be? Even your only employees have zero respect for you.

My husband just left the store extremely upset. We need to replace every door and all of the castings along with baseboards throughout our entire home. He asked one of the sales reps for pricing on solid doors and not solid doors. The response from the sales rep was, "what's your budget". He told her we do not have a budget. My husband asked for pricing on 2 different doors and her response was, "NOPE! Were not doing that. When you find out what your wife wants, I'll give you pricing!" This is horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was our first experience with them and definitely our LAST!

Ordered and paid for Crown Moldings on the 15th August. At some point the moldings where dropped and broken prior to delivery. Another order was supposed to be place but it looks like this did not occur and the order was cancelled by Raymond Building Supply. Three weeks later on ringing up the company this was discovered. No attempt was made to inform us or issue a refund. We needed to visit the company twice because they did not respond to phone calls. On Friday 7th September a refund was issued but not processed until Monday. On Tuesday 11th two calls made both picked up by answering service. At this point we went to Raymonds and were informed that the refund would take two weeks. They sited that this delay was due to our bank. I informed them it was illegal for banks to withhold funds. They them produced a document showing that a company called Dollars on the Net where issuing the refund or holding the money for two weeks. Visited my bank and had them issue a chargeback against Raymond Building Supply. This type of withholding funds has become fairly typical in US business. Thus the internet has slowed down payment to benefit companies cash flow. It is deliberate and illegal. Reason of review: Problems with payment. Monetary Loss: $1062.
