Went in for a last minute rental and received amazing customer service from Lourdes. Couldn’t have been more helpful and overall was amazing. Thank you!

I rented a 12-ft moving truck to be picked up at the Home Depot location in North Fort Lauderdale. I got a confirmation e-mail from Penske and no further communication. When I got there, they had two reservations in their system, but mine was not one of them. The Home Depot employee was very nice and equally as confused as I was. There was also only one Penske truck at that location. So I called customer service in Pompano. Sharena, apparently a manager, informed me that my reservation had been cancelled, but couldn't tell me by whom or why. She was generally clueless and didn't care to explain this. She just kept saying: "I don't know." She also said that the truck that was there was going to be towed for service to their Pompano location. So the other two renters on their list probably were in for a surprise when they got there, too! Unbelievable!!! This was a very frustrating experience, especially when you have to make all kinds of other arrangements in to make a move happen and time is of the essence. I will NEVER EVER rent from Penske again! I called U-Haul and got a truck in a matter of minutes with no problems.

Haven't picked the truck up yet but customer service is excellent.
