This is my closest Publix less than a minute however i avoid this at all costs due to the following. Parking and navigating in the parking lot is very bad and tight. You have heavy presence of poverty. You have loitering, panhandling and homeless all around this shopping plaza and the adjacent Home Depot parking lot. When I use to go to this location I always felt uneasy and not safe. The parking lot also floods when it rains. Inside the Publix is not bad keep in mind that this is a smaller Publix so not all items that most regular Publix have are not available here. I also ran into an issue where 2-party platters I placed days before was not completed by the due time in the meat section which was an inconvenience. They took care of me and apologized. If it wasn't for the parking and loitering this would be my go to however I usually go to Publix in west Margate or in Coral Springs.

The deli department is a madhouse, they have a pick a number system, but they don't use it so it's pretty much who can yell and push. The employees behind the counter we're trying their best to keep up. If I didn't have my six-year-old with me, I would've stuck it out, but it was getting too crazy.

The service here has always been extremely slow. They never have enough staff when I come. But Xiomara was the first customer service representative to ever truly try and level set customers. Although it got annoying and repetitive, she at least tried compared to the others. She was friendly, polite, respectful and a pleasure the whole time despite the stressful environment. The way she made my sub was perfect. One of the best chicken tender subs I've had from Publix. Promote her or give her a raise, seriously,!!

Publix is my go to store to get my essentials. The workers are always friendly, it products have gotten a little pricey over these pass month. Nevertheless I enjoy shopping here. I love the chicken tender sub!

Extremely disappointing in-store event. A Spin the Wheel to Win a Prize game was setup in the front lobby. My prize--one cheap paper coaster! Other participants in the queue before me, expressed similiar disappointment with their prizes. Advertised as a flavors of Jamaica event, I expected actual tasting of Caribbean culinary dishes but NADA! If no live cooking demo, at least offer samples of fresh tropical fruit.I browsed the rest of the store, hoping additional event stations may be in other areas of the store but no--none. What caused my immediate departure was the meat department having only one (1) pack of oxtails for a ridiculous $10.29 per pound.Glad I have a spot to buy them for half that cost.This shopping trip was definitely not a pleasure...
