I attended Alamo one afternoon last week only to receive very disappointing service. Alamo / Enterprise / National are all out of the same office address in Sunny Isles so the same employees would be assisting you regardless of whichever car company you booked with. When I attempted to pick up the vehicle I had reserved online, I was refused rental because I was going to pay using my Visa Debit card. I explained that I had rented a vehicle from another Enterprise location a couple of weeks earlier using the same method of payment without any issue and I was still told that that wasn't possible at this location. When I asked why, I was just told that that was the way it was.I did attempt to rent a vehicle at this location also a week prior as well via online reservation but the day that I was supposed to pick up my vehicle, I received a call prior to my pick up time stating they had a shortage of vehicles and that they would call me once one became available for me. No follow up phone call was ever received. Two separate simple incidents with the same location. Bottom line, if you're reserving here, be prepared for very poor customer service and a 'too bad, so sad' attitude from the employees there. As well, be prepared for a last minute phone call before your pick up time only to be told there actually isn't a vehicle there available for you.The very next day after being refused a vehicle at this location, I returned back to the previous location I rented from and did secure myself another rental as before without any issue. My advice to the owner / manager of this location, hire better employees who can actually answer a question with a reasonable answer and who care about the satisfaction of their customers. Sunny Isles deserves better.

Positively surprised... after having hoped for a rental with acceptable prices at the airport, I booked here at the last moment (a day before) a fantastic Mustang convertible... the girl who received me was very kind... the car was delivered and returned in 5 minutes... I couldn't have expected anything better

Reserved a car at Alamo and received reservation confirmation. When we went to pick up the car we had to wait in 30 minute queue and when arrived at the counter they said they have no cars and the reservation basically guarantees nothing!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.Promised me a car after I booked and paid online and took 3 ubers to get there. Only to find out, that for the first time in my 10 years in USA, the guys at the desk denied me a car because my florida driver license said 'temporary' on it, because I was an international. FYI any international person on any kind of visa, always has 'temporary' written on their drivers license, despite it showing an active valid date that won't expire years from now.I searched up Alamo's direct policies (which said my ID was OK) and showed the guys at the counter, but no they wouldn't budge. I realized later that it wasn't my 'international' status that they had an issue with, but rather where this international person (Me) was from that they had an issue with. Blatant prejudice does exist :)FYI - May I add, that they took 30 minutes to get to me because they were blatantly salivating, ogling, and hitting on foreign girls that were there before me. Honestly speaking, from one man knowing other men, they gave me very very bad vibes and i was worried for the safety of those women. I kept a keen eye to make sure they left safely without these low-lives following them or something nasty before it was my turn at the counter.

Alamo Sunny Isles called me at 6pm the night before my rental (due to commence at 9am the next day) and stated that they did not have vehicles at the location I had booked and would call me during the day when one was available. No call was ever received and it has ruined a planned weekend with a vehicle. It is scam-like behaviour to offer vehicles to book online and then not have them available for rent.Beware of this business.[EDIT - there was no contact at all over the weekend, and no response from an email sent to the address that Chad provided below. Horrible service. Plans for both days of the weekend completely upended by this business.]

It is scam-like behavior to offer vehicles to book online and then not have them available for rent.Beware of this business.

I usually don't write negative or bad reviews because I am of the mind that everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, this was not the case for this Alamo location. My husband and I had made a reservation over a month ago for a 7 person vehicle for this Winter Holiday. Once we arrived for pick up we were told that we were going to be provide an "equivalent vehicle". We verified the information and we were going to be charged for a 7 person car and their version of equivalent vehicle was a 5 person car. It felt as if they were scamming us and robbing us right then and there. We asked about the discrepancy and the employee at the front desk with very little interest or regard said that for them a 7 person car is the same as the car we were going to be provided. Their website is misleading, the customer service was an absolute joke and we ended up cancelling the reservation as they were essentially scamming us. It all worked out because we ended up renting a 7 person car from a better local business with amazing customer service and prices. STAY AWAY from this Alamo location both online and in person they are essentially stealing people's hard earned money.

This passed weekend I had the worst experience ever !!!! Especially with manager Zachary he’s is the worst ! Something happened to my car while being in sunny isle and I went to this location thinking I had “Hope “ to get a car for my 2 remaining days I was denied. I came to this location 4 times and each time Zachary the manager told me “ I can’t help you “. What kind of manager is he , not friendly , always on his phone and doesn’t have no customer service at all . I was so disappointed on how he managed my case . Short story at the end of day I didn’t have NO car: I was celebrating my 1 st anniversary with my wife we had plans in the night and hoping that I was getting a car, we were happy of the situation that was happening. But when I came in for the fourth time, the “ manager said NO I can’t get you in car when I called Alamo they said there was so many car options for that day. Don’t come to this location , they are not professional at all. Nobody wants to help you in this location ! Guys don’t waste ur time here go to another branch . This location is the worst. Especially the manager Zachary !!

this place is a rip off, literally! they charged an additional 5 days of rental after the car was dropped off at the Miami airport, and they never provided a receipt, just a giant bill afterwards. No one is helping, calls/emails have been ignored since May 2021, been asking for a copy of the contract or receipt and no luck. Asking for a manager to contact us immediately and to issue a full refund for the additional days that were illegally charged to the card. this place is taking advantage of tourists. please stay away and go to a reputable company to conduct business.

Almost 700 dollars for a spark. For only 9 days is absurd.. I won't use Alamo again

I was driving on the highway at night when the car suddenly stopped working in the middle of the highway without any type of warning. I called 911 and roadside assistance brought gasoline. After adding it to the car the car still wouldn't turn on. They told me I had to call Alamo. So I did and they said they would tow the car in 2 hours. Two hours went by and no towing truck came. Suddenly the emergency lights went off and it became an even more dangerous situation for my aunt (a senior citizen) and myself. So we decided to leave the car and leave that dangerous situation. My concern is that I have been charged 2 additional charges on my credit card: one for $800 and another for $500 for the towing of the car. Please know that it wasn't my fault that I was given a damaged car, it is I that should be compensated for being put in a dangerous situation. So I would like to request that you void those charges.I have been trying to get in touch with your branch without EVER being successful until today that I talked to Zack and provided your e-mail address. I have been waiting for more than 40min on the answering machine without luck. I have contacted the Alamo claims service and was finally able to talk to a general manager today after months of calling, and still he was not able to help me.
