I came to rent a truck and a lady at the desk started to check me in. when I asked them what the emergency contact was for(medical emergencies, liability,etc.) the Manager in the store (black man with beard,heavy set) said why is it a problem and asked if I didn't plan on bringing the truck back. I told him that felt disrespectful to me and he asked how was it disrespectful and said I was being sketchy.lol. I went and got my husband so he could observe what was happening. When the manager tried to butt in again my husband told him that we do not need manager assistance and we were dealing with his employee. He then got mad and said he wasn't renting to us; and grabbed the truck keys from his employee and told her to cancel the contract. We then asked for a gm and they gave us the store card. We call the number on it, The manager Lynette comes from the back room. She apologized to us and had the contract remade. I didn't want to rent atp but my husband was ready to get everything over with. But I will never be back or use u

Worst case of unprofessional and subpar work on tow hitch installation. Started with hitch not in store on installation date and i was never contacted as i arrived at store. Called for weeks to get info and was initially told hitch was installed then hitch not in store for weeks. This was the star of never ending issues with the installation. Issues were underbody panel not reinstalled , undercar spare tire was left loose , interior panel bolt access cover was missing , hitch installed with rear bumper cover tabs under hitch instead of over causing damage with part having to be replaced. Every issue i informed assistant manager and manager just gave excuses. Uhaul does not trim the underbody panels , hitch installer is sure spare tire carrier was secure are 2 of the excuses i got. Uhaul's own installation video showed correct installation with reinstallation of trimmed underbody panel and and correct postion of bumper tabs. I purchased the bumper panel from toyota and replaced it myself rather than let the installer at uhaul do it. When i went to uhaul with receipt for bumper panel the manager was questioning me about the price , even after all the issues i had. Please do not take your car to this North Miami Beach location for hitch installation. Also look up hitch installation videos for your vehicle so as to know how it shuold be done to check on installers work.

I'm in the middle of a big move, and trying to handle most of it on my own. I really appreciated Christopher T's help today. He helped me load up my car with supplies. He was very patient and supportive, and without his help I wouldn't have been able to pack up everything I need.

The worse experience of my life.. employees are disrespectful and talk down on you . Was charged 100 dollars more for a mistake they created themselves. Horrrible customer service .

This place needs new management ASAP! Not a single employee in this location is happy with his job. 0 customer service and 0 human manners. If you call, they leave your call in hold and if you hang up and call again they don't answer your call. I been calling this location for a whole Week just to get information about the installation of a hitch and they don't care by any means.

This place is full of people working here that hate there job and none of them offer any extra help or customer service outside the bare minimum of what's required to maintain a job there. Don't expect much from this location and the people working here...

Had the worst experience here. Let me tell you, if you want a u haul they probably know what their doing but if u want storage, forget it. They don't know what their doing. They will tell u they have nothing when in actuality they do. I know this first hand as the idiot at the counter stated they had no storage available and would have to come back tomorrow. Also doubled down on his stupidity by stating if I bought it online, I would still have to come in. Well let's educate this employee. Bought it online. No need to go in. Gate code and locker number were sent in a text message a minute after purchase. Didn't even have to go into the place. Not sure if it was a lack of training or lack of wanting to help but in this case it definitely felt like the latter.
