“I came here for a Yelp event a few months ago and have since completely fallen in love with Resource Depot. The best way to describe the store is a thrift store for crafting and educational supplies. I've been on DIY kick since moving to a new home and Resource Depot has been helping me so much with all my little projects. There are two size bins you can use to shop. A large yellow recycle bin is $10 or the small blue bin is $5. I have been grabbing the blue bin lately and filling it with paint, fabric, styrofoam, ribbon, yarn, tiles, craft foam, felt, and so much more. Of course selection will depend on what has been donated so go in with an open and creative mind. There is also a space for more newer items for sale. There are some definite great finds in there and everything is priced per item. So if you don't find what you needed in the resource side, definitely check out that area as well!”

“This little unassuming shop in Harbourside Place features the colorful, whimsical artwork of local artist Melissa Rinaldi. Her fun, locally-themed prints adorn all manner of products in the store, many beach-themed. It was so cool to stumble onto a shop with entirely South-Florida themed stuff. Since I love to support local artists and purchase locally-made gifts, I'm so happy to know about this shop. On this visit, though, the items I was drawn to seemed geared towards either women or men, and I prefer to purchase gender-neutral items instead. I can see how these items would probably appeal to those who like Lilly Pulitzer. My young son definitely loved the paintings of turtles and other wildlife. Giant murals adorn the cement walls on both sides of the store, providing an awesome backdrop for photos!”

“What an honor to gaze upon the work and tools of Ann Weaver Norton. While the gardens are breathtaking, I was mesmerized by the studio. This is a place of serenity and time is easily lost here in the beauty of art and nature. The ladies at the desk and newly added gift shop were delightful. Street side parking was free. This is open seasonally so do check hours of operation.”

“This is a pretty funky place that is right next to my house. It’s a local institution. Place is very quirky and artsy inside and they often have a live music and acts performing. I’m not a big drinker so I can’t really comment on the beer, but to me, the atmosphere stand out. It’s very popular with the locals and the owners are staples in the town too. Recommend.”

“What an awesome community Art Center loaded with fun art classes. You are sure to find a class that interests you during the year. I recently attended the Locals only art show and was delighted at the turn out and the art was modern and upbeat! Lilly Pulitzer’s granddaughter was there autographing copies of her new children’s book. I especially love the galleries gift shop. Love their ceramics studio which they are going to make bigger, how exciting!”

“I met Spencer in 2010 and visited his gallery in Chicago for a few years. I was new to vintage posters and art in general. Spencer was extremely helpful and patient. Over the years, I purchased four posters and two, he searched for and found. He once called me nine months after I had had told him of a poster I wanted. I went there on an event night, maybe it was the bad weather, but it seemed like a lot of the tents were packing up 2 hours early, and the artists that were there were hanging around with their friends, it didn't seem like they wanted strangers walking through their areas. Still really cool, and maybe if I go on a night that's not torrential thunderstorm downpours it will be better.”
