I wouldn't rent from these folks. They'll rent you a car, but the gas level IS NOT full, but will put that it's a full tank in the computer system.

This location has wonderful staff that try their best but unfortunately the company itself fails to provide adequate vehicles to run the business. I am unsure how a car rental company manages to completely run out of cars constantly and not fix the issue. The people who work there have their hands tied as there is nothing that can be done to provide a car when it does not exist.

Hertz is awesome! They are so helpful when you need a car due to an accident and having to make it to and from work! I’m a repeat customer.

It is pretty rare that anyone has a “great” experience renting a car. It is usually “get in the office…. get out of the office…. and off you go.”
This Hertz experience was actually quite pleasant. Harrison ( I hope that is his name. I am mostly deaf and don’t catch everything) was pleasant first thing on a Monday morning. But even better, he was professional and efficient. He explained all the options and high points of the agreement before quickly processing my agreement. This nice to feel like a person actually wants to help…. and I got that feeling in abundance.
The office was neat and tidy. The car I received was not the Kia I reserved. It actually was a beautiful Volvo as the Kia had to be used for another earlier reservation.
Harrison helped with a few questions with the car and even supplied a power cord adapter…. Again, what a nice touch.
Next time I am in West Palm Beach, there is only one place I’ll go if I need a rental car!

Horrendous service the guy up front was rude hung up on me had double pending charges and literally the most unprofessional person ever. Should be fired. Don’t ever use this place they are an embarrassment to American business

Overall a very good experience, my only issue was we paid for a mid-size SUV (Rogue or similar) and we were given a Trax, which is a compact and was very tight with our luggage. That said, the Trax was brand new and very clean. There were no hidden fees, or extra charges, which is always a plus. Drop off was at West Palm airport and very convenient and easy. If we got an Rogue or Equinox or something a little roomier, I would definitely say 5 stars.

I took my van here and was told he would have the transmission out that day and have it done the next day. I had to put up a thousand dollars for a down payment.
When I showed up on Wednesday I was told the transmission was out,but his guy was sick. I went back Thursday morning and looked,he never touched my vehicle.
When I confronted him, he just said you cought me. He kept saying he could fix it in a day, but he didn't have a bay to put it in or anyone to do the work. I had to pay for a room and rental car for 4 days.
I took my car to a shop down the road and they got it in that day and fixed it that day.

I made the reservation 1month before needed date. I was assured it would by a Malibu or Corolla by Jacob , I told Jacob that is perfect .we are familiar with car and correct size for our height. . I gave my corporate “parent company code for discount “ and I was all set . I called day before my pick up date and spoke to Jacob again, he completely assured me car will be there and to pick up anytime. I wanted to leave a bit after noon and was glad the car choices involved since we are all over 6foot tall. I got there day of rental. No Jacob, no car Malibu or Toyota and had me down to pick up after 5pm. Nothing was correct. The individual behind desk was indifferent to me and my situation and all the steps I had taken to ensure right time and right car. I was told all they had was a gm Track or a Nissan kick. Both vehicles are much smaller and sub standard to my choices . Again the person behind counter was indifferent. I mentioned there was a Volvo sitting there very similar to the Malibu in size and is it available, I was told that was a luxury/large car and would cost more. I stated that should be the right thing to do and not up charge me . (Again I know this process very well) In the end went along to see how it would play out for us , and we ended up with a Nissan kick. The car was instantly very uncomfortable, not really made for a highway and hills travel or tall people. My rate did not drop and after adding insurance it tripled. Upon inspection of the car it was completely covered on the roof by various types of bird feces and a low front tire. The employee took it around back and gave it a spray while I had to leave and get back to work . My wife waited for the car. She took it home to load up , when she opened the rear hatch there was a large amount of bird feces inside the rear hatch seams and drippings went everywhere and even a few piles of feces all over the ledge and roof.
I was a bit bummed seeing how nothing was considered or offered other than a less standard vehicle. If they treat their parent company and even possibly fellow employee with “codes “ like this I can only imagine the way our tourists and snowbirds here are treated. We have bought cars at this location etc.The fact my experience was this poor and all the while I went along because the car was needed and to I wanted to actually see how locations treat customers I’m a bit upset and surprised at the lack of customer satisfaction offered at the location . I would not recommend this location to any friends or fellow co workers..I am only speaking of my personal experience as any public individual can post their review however someone with actual insights and experience in this type of employment experiencing less than standard service I felt it needed to be shared .

Truck was very clean.A brand new, never used, before or after credit card, had fraudulent charges from hotels or some type of rentals, the morning after I handed the card to the employees at this Hertz and never used the card before and nowhere else. Ever to this day.I returned the truck early.I’ve just been notified that Hertz too, have been charging $160/day on my card.It appears a daily rate. 3 X the daily rate I paid for the previous rental.For a week “after” I returned the truck.Appears they never closed the contract. Even though I returned the vehicle on time. With no damage. Last week.The service has improved.

Too little attention to customer service. Hidden fees not well communicated. I trusted the brand's reputation and was deeply disappointed at the national and local level.

I just wanted to say .I was returning my rental which I had no problem with. However the white guys at the front who seems very annoyed to be there totally ignored me standing in line. Every customer that walks in behind me, he look behind me to asked how may he help them. I was the only black customer in there,so of course I felt this was personal especially after he did it 3 times. I expressed how I felt to the young lady sitting next to him who offered to help after assisting someone else. she said,she noticed and apologized for that kind of service.Otherwise everything else was good.
