Helpful visitor's center and beautiful beach. There is a long walkway to get to the beach, but I enjoyed the view. They have a motorized vehicle to take you back and forth if you don't want to walk there or back. It runs until 4 p.m.

Beautiful and peaceful nature reserve. We attended this time for an afternoon concert of folk and Americana music, in the lovely outdoor Amphitheatre amongst the swaying palms. An idyllic setting for a couple of hours of down home entertainment on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful beach with a really nice boardwalk to walk on. Only $5 for a car to enter and there's a small visitor centre with some information on the formation of the mangroves and animals. The bathrooms at the end of the Sand Dune trail were locked so maybe ask at the gate first if you're counting on them. Otherwise use the ones at the nature centre before heading to the beach.

Essential spot to make while visiting Singer Island! Beautiful, vibrant national park with very awesome trails to get to the beach. Kayaking is fairly priced and well worth the money, since the estuary is huge and you could spend an entire day kayaking it. Originally came for the snorkeling, but only found one smaller natural reef close to the boardwalk, and wildlife was sparse despite being a beautiful, calm day at high tide. The nature on land more than made up for this - truly awesome. Came many times during the week I visited Palm Beach.

Great park. Fantastic staff & volunteers. I JUST reviewed this and even added pictures so I'm not sure why the Google has me doin' it again. Maybe the other reviews for the barrier island part of the park?Just go here. It's a great place. Lots of nature and a free tram ride across the boardwalk and back.Restrooms: Lots of clean restrooms. Great place to pee? Not sure how to review the restrooms. They're a bit rustic, but not latrines.Wheel chair & stroller accessible with one extra large stall.

This park is one of my favorites. They have a yearly membership you can buy that will allow you free entry and access to its kayaks. I personally use my paddleboards more often. It’s a large tidal estuary with several small, private islands. I have seen countless wildlife here, including birds, rays, turtles and sharks. I absolutely adore this place.

Well, I thought it was a little strange that handed the girl my pass , she actually asked me for identification. I guess she's the only one doing her job. I've been to 81 out of 176 state parks. And never been asked for ID.It was a beautiful place.. They have a great handicap Boardwalk. It takes you through the mangroves. It's the coolest spot on the property. It's a canopy of trees and mangroves.. They also have a great gift shop carrying beautiful artisan pieces from local artists in the Florida area. There is a shuttlethat takes you across the bridge over to the beach. You cross over the river down a very long Boardwalk. The shuttle driver was a really nice man and very knowledgeable about the property. They have great kayak launches throughout the mangroves to launch your own kayak or rent one. Also a small hiking trail throughout the mangroves. The beach is beautiful. So pristine and natural when you look back to the west, it's outlined with beautiful Dunes with mangroves and Palms. The sand is extremely hot.. Don't forget your shoes. There are lifeguards on duty, and in that particular portion of the ocean, it is extremely rough water. Please make sure that you have your children in life jackets. There was extreme undertow in that area of the beach. I hope you enjoy my recommendation, and when you're over on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, you definitely want to stop in to John MacArthur Park.DON'T FORGET TO STAY HYDRATEDRestrooms: Everything is handicap accessiblePicnic area: Picnic tables only an entrance of the park not on the beaches

Nice little beach! We also went for a walk in the state park area, beware of spiders! Those things are everywhere! The spider webs are massive and so are the creepy crawlers! The beach, you have to go across a pretty big bridge but they do have golf carts that can take you back and forth. As for the state park area, it is separate from this beach area but definitely be prepared to see these guys everywhere you walk or look

So the park is cool, but if your wanting to just go sit at the beach, this park isn't the best for that. 1) you have to pay to get in when Riviera Beach municipal beach, reef park (when no one is there in the off season), and the beach under the bridge are free.2) the walk is too long on a hot day, though the walk over the bridge and lagoon is nice, it's not something you want to do if your plan is to just go to the beach. 3) the sand is larger grain here and their are rocky areas that make it not ideal for swimmers or kids playing on the water. You CAN fish here though but again- long Walk to the beach and you are not allowed to fish on the bridge. They do have kayak rentals though, so it's a good spot to go do that for a reasonable price. The gift shop is cute too.

It's a beautiful park. We never made it all the way to the beach but it's a very pretty way to get to the beach using that long bridge. Place is clean. Gift shop is cute. They're also offering a discount for park entrance for the summer, it's only $4 per car instead of $5.

We stopped over on our way to the keys, fully expecting this place to be a bit boring- it was not! This is a huge park with River access, bike and hiking trails, animals galore, tons of birds, and great views from the fire lookout , which is on the highest point in Southern Florida.Restrooms: Super clean!Picnic area: Lots of places to picnic near the river

Very pleasant area: lots of nice boardwalks, wild and untouched beach. The mangroves are absolutely gorgeous and that was the first time I saw a crab on a tree!
