My battery randomly died and I had to jump it yesterday. Today it kept needing multiple attempts to turn on. I called AutoZone asking about cost on the battery, and the woman on the ohone was so nice and patient with my cluelessness (first car). In the store, a man was also very patient, checked my battery, and thoroughly explained everything to me while I purchased a new battery. Awesome staff.

Bought a product and tried to exchange 4 quarters for $1. The manager 10 ft away wouldn't help. I waited 5 minutes and left. Managers should be capable of multitasking. This is a simple request that was avoided irresponsibly.

Stopped in because it was actually open and my tail and license plate light were out, a murder sentence in my town. They didn’t have the tail light, but due to the elevated need of the situation the clerk was nice enough to give me the part number to try another store, something I very much appreciated because it was late I was tired and really, really, really, didn’t want to get pulled over for something I had been to 3 stores prior, trying to correct, only to find that for some reason they had all closed before their time. Due to the fact that not only was the store open but the clerk cared enough to go above and beyond in an extenuating circumstance to help me (when he could have easily turned me away) I can honestly say I’ll be shopping Auto Zone for all my future automotive needs. I was in such a tizzy I ditzed out on getting a name. The peace of mind he gave me after such a horrible day was priceless. (I was able to find what I needed thanks to him!!)

I would like to add to the new reaction of the Autozon manager that he showed to me. 3 days ago I turned on the hazard lights and left the car. With the engine turned off, the car stood for approximately 40 45 minutes after which I could not start the engine because the battery was dead. I have a warranty on the battery that lasts until December 26, 2023. I went to Autozon to replace the battery under warranty, which was denied to me. First, an Autozon employee said that I had a bad starter. After 2 minutes, the worker said that I had a bad alternator. He told me that I had a bad alternator; it does not charge the battery. I suggested to the manager to turn off the engine of my car and turn on the lights and hazard warning lights. After that, if the car does not start, it means that the battery is bad and it does not hold a charge. the manager refused me. I want to warn other buyers, visitors to Autozon, check several times with another company, do not rush to change the Starter generator and other parts, it will be very expensive. I was under the impression that the Manager of this company would pay money out of his own pocket when replacing my battery. I confirm once again that I have a guarantee until December 26, 2023

I was so pleased with my experience here from beginning to end. I don’t know a lot about cars, so one of the associates, Michael helped me pick out the best windshield wipers for my car, and he even even offered to install them for me, which was such a big help.

I walked into AutoZone in North Port at 5 minutes til closing tonight. I was having car problems obviously hence the reason I went there and as soon as I walked in the man says “You have 4 minutes until we close up!” Then I say “OK can you help me find the water remover for gas?” He points and tells me where it is. Still having trouble finding it I hear dudes phone watching some cartoon or something like dude you’re in a hurry to close up…..wouldn’t you help me a little more after I say “I don’t see it!” Like really?

The employees treated me poorly, I purchased a very expensive part and was told it would arrive by 4:30 the same day and the store would call once it’s ready for pickup. I received no call by 5:30 so I called the store and was placed on hold for 15 minutes to be told that it won’t arrive for another day. Then when I came in the next day to pick up the part they were still rude. I don’t usually put in negative reviews since everyone has a bad day occasionally but the rude employees, poor customer service, and lack of communication had me shocked. I’ve never been treated so poorly as a customer before.
