I sincerely hope this review reaches someone who values Publix’s reputation. My family and I have been shopping at the Toledo location for about a year since moving to the area, and the consistent unprofessional and unpleasant treatment from employees has driven us to start shopping at a much farther location.At Toledo, interactions across almost every department feel as though helping customers is a burden. In stark contrast, the atmosphere at the Cochran location is warm and welcoming. I even asked an employee there why the environment was so different, and she proudly said, “We love what we do.” That sentiment is echoed by other long-term Publix employees I've encountered, who emphasize the importance of gratitude and customer care.Today was the final straw. When picking up my prescription, I stood at the pharmacy counter for four minutes while two employees ignored me. Eventually, one (Erika) reluctantly approached with an attitude and asked, “Can I help you?” Her tone made it clear she felt bothered. The experience was so unpleasant that I nearly walked out.When I looked up this store's reviews under Pharmacy, I wasn’t surprised to find a 2.6 rating with numerous complaints spanning years. It’s shocking that this has been allowed to persist for so long. Does anyone care about the customer experience at this location?Publix is known for excellent customer service, but the Toledo location is tarnishing that reputation. I strongly urge corporate to address this location’s management and training, as it does not meet Publix standards.

The store is great. Sometimes the Supervisor! Walk around and don't speak, to customers in the store. Not Happy about it. Let's Do Better.

Worst experience at a Publix ever. Never go to this location. Went on New Years Eve at 7:30 am. Tried to get fresh rolls from the bakery. Was told they were still in the proofer and would be a few hours. went to check out with 2 items. Only register open had 3 shoppers with large orders. Went over to the self check out and was told only take cards no cash. Left the store with no items.

I had 8 items in my cart and as I was entering the quick checkout line the cashier snapped and stated: “10 items or less”. I almost purchased 3 candy bars just to spite her. How rude.

But whoever is making them now is over seasoning and adding way too much salt .

Much higher prices here in Florida than I'm used to in N.C., like at least 2x higher, so not staying in Florida. Clean store, helpful staff, smaller store. No items, like nuts, sold in Bulk anywhere here either. Back to ordering parrot food online. How do seniors afford to live here?

I love this store at Burnt Store Marketplace Punta Gorda. It's a little overpriced but worth it, and the employees are so helpful and friendly
