From The Conch Republic Grill

Come down to the islands for some fresh seafood, lively cocktails, and the friendliest staff on the beach. We specialize in serving great food in Key West style - we hand cut all our own steaks and fish, and make everything (really, everything) from scratch. Come for the mussels diablo, and stay for the bananas foster! Lunch and Dinner served all day. Happy Hour drink specials served 11am-7pm. Can’t dine in? Order to-go online for pickup!

The Conch Republic Grill's fish is brought in fresh daily, as are the steaks. The cedar-plank salmon is just what it promises: a filet of salmon grilled on a cedar plank over a cedar fire, imparting a distinctive sweet-smoky flavor. Other entrées include casual approaches to chicken, ribs, steak and pastas. The popular hot pressed Cuban sandwich is close to the authentic style found in Tampa's Ybor City. There are fresh scallops on every dinner menu --- something not easily found despite the Florida location. In keeping with the Florida Keys theme, another tasty entrée is the Islamorada crab cakes (Caribbean-style lump blue crab cakes, pan-seared and blended with vegetables and served with rémoulade). Desserts are more upscale than might be expected from the casual environment, and include upside-down apple pie made with Granny Smith apples, and bananas Foster. Jen's cheesecake is also a favorite along with the most popular sweet: Key lime pie. The open kitchen is visible from most points in the restaurant, making the dining experience almost a cooking lesson, too. Tables are far enough apart to give guests a sense of space, while décor is a mix of nautical and barroom, with crates and cases of beer stacked at strategic points to break sight-lines.
