First and foremost, let me thank Jaimie for the best customer service experience I’ve ever been through. Not once, but twice. First time, Extra Space upped my rent by over $100 per month. I was all ready to move to another facility after getting nowhere trying to negotiate with other employees there and at corporate. She offered me a significant discount and an apology for her colleagues being so inflexible.
Most recently, I had some payment issues with my credit card and was assessed outrageous amounts in late fees. My storage needs changed, and I no longer needed a 10 x 10, and wanted to down size to a much smaller unit. Once again, I was told by other employees and corporate that the late fees could not be waived and I could not transfer to a smaller unit until my balance was paid in full at the 10 x 10 space for another month. Once again, Jaimie to the rescue. She waived the late fee (it was a bank issue with automatic payment). She allowed me to transfer to the smaller unit and prorated the rent accordingly. Had it not been for Jaimie, Extra Space would not have me as a customer. Twice she was able to find solutions where others could not. She is a true professional and I’m sure that she can handle anything that’s thrown at her. I expect a lot as a customer, Jaimie exceeded my expectations every time.
As a storage facility, this place is perfect. Reasonable hours, super clean, professional staff, and easy access. My only complaint is their practice of offering lowball rents on-line, and then a few months later, they increase it outrageously. And since they only rent month-to-month, there is no assurance that you won’t see a $120 rent increase next month. Please offer year leases!

Easy and reasonable. Marcia made rental and move-in easy! The prices are reasonable and they have locations convenient to many areas in South Florida.

Failed to charge my account for the monthly charge, although i had auto pay set up and the funds were available. They only tried charging my card AFTER my account had racked up a crazy amount of frivolous late fees and dues. They didn’t bother charging my card when the bill was due (the only reason they had my card info). My bank showed no attempts to charge my card for the monthly fee, but showed they did try charging my card for several hundreds of dollars - money they had no right to charge, had they been billing my account as instructed in the autopay. Quite a scam they have going there and they didn’t even let the locker go to auction, I just got a random notice that I had moved out of my locker. I can assure you i did not - bc i was still in the process of finding out why my account went delinquent at all and I did not have access to my locker. I still have no clue what happened to my property. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE
